“I’m picky, and I’m extremely big on having my food fresh. I’ve had several to go orders here and they’ve all tasted wonderful... ( hands down way better then Franklin’s chilis). My server was actually really good she was punctual and when we were seated we were able to order straight away. Food was hot and delicious... they were a bit slow on the dessert but overall had a pleasant experience. Some of these reviews have to be exaggerated. Spring hills fast food is absolutely disgusting, literally all of it. Hands down I would pick this over it and eat here any day.”

“I've been to Farmer's Family probably 4-5 times with family over the last few months. It's an all-buffet restaurant, with all the pros and cons that come with that. Pros: lots of food choices and they generally keep the bar well stocked. Cons: food quality varies a lot. A few items are really good, some mediocre, and some are very poor, so it's really hit and miss. The desserts at Farmer's need a lot of improvement. They have tons of desserts, but very few are worth having. Their rice krispy treats taste like wax and are truly awful. They'd do better to have fewer desserts that are higher quality, instead of dozens that aren't much good. The same goes for their vegetables and sides..many are flavorless or cooked to death. Even the mashed potatoes aren't very tasty. On the other hand, they have turkey and dressing that's actually pretty good. The breakfast bar seems to be a lot better than lunch or dinner, and it's also priced a couple bucks lower. Bottom line, Farmer's is an okay buffet that could be a good buffet with just a few improvements to food quality.”

“I may regret leaving this review, because it'll be so packed, I'll never get any of this delightful food again. However, I feel it my duty to share something so amazing. I ran across a post on Facebook about Mama Mila's and decided to run give it a try. Had no idea what to expect. When we entered downstairs, the most amazing smell assaulted our senses. My friend and I looked at each other and said "OH MY GOODNESS, IS THAT WHERE WE'RE GOING??" The gentlemen coming down the stairs verified that it was indeed our destination that the divine smell was coming from, and that it tasted as good as it smelled. Upon entering Mama Milas space, I was transported to another place. I told my friend that I felt like we were in a movie...or that we were visiting a long lost family member from Italy, that invited us over for dinner. We placed our orders with the sweetest little girl, who astounded us with her knowledge and professionalism. We sat and watched Mama Mila work her way around the kitchen. When our food arrived, I almost didn't get a picture, because our mouths were watering and we were ready to tear in. One bite, and I was dancing in my seat. You know it's good when you do a jig as you chew. THIS WAS THE MOST AMAZING ITALIAN I'VE EVER HAD. I savored every?single ?bite?. I have craved that pasta ever since that day, 2 weeks ago. If you're in the Columbia area (or even if you have to drive 4 hours to get there) IT IS A MUST TRY.”

“Overall really good and we will definitely be back. The smoked wings appetizer was really tasty although for “dry rub” there really was not much seasoning. Kids grilled cheese and fries were very good. My wife’s chopped brisket was really good also. I wish there was a sliced brisket option but otherwise really good. What really set off the brisket was a fantastic BBQ sauce. More of a Texas sauce than sweet KC, it was GREAT! I would definitely buy a bottle if they offered it. The side of “hash” (sautéed and seasoned squash, zucchini and onions) was fantastic also. I had the steak tacos and the homemade flour tortillas were awesome. Once topped the tacos were really big and filling. The steak was good but a little overcooked. Ranch beans and rice were nice as well. Again, really excited to go back and try other items. A very welcome addition to the area! We will be back!”

“Good pizza, built like a Little Caesars, where you just pick up and go (or get delivery). Prices are ok, but not sure the quality matches the cost above and beyond LC. That being said, the bill was not outrageous. The crust was really, really good, however, and definitely makes this a place to consider for next time. We did build your own pizzas, but we had to ask when ordering for the topping options as they weren't posted anywhere. That being said, there were plenty of pre-designed options to choose from.”
