“My sister and I went here after touring the distillery. It took half an hour for our food to come out and several other patron were served before us, but while we were waiting the waitress checked up on us every five minutes, ensuring that my coffee cup was never less than 1/4 full! Fantastic waitress. Since it took so long for our food to come out (not sure what the mix-up was), the waitress comped us not only for the food that was late but for the entire meal, including the coffee. This is an excellent example of southern hospitality.”

“Fantastic ice cream! Wife and both had sundaes. Not hot fudge unfortunately, just typical hersheys chocolate and caramel syrup but the ice cream itself was the standout. Pizza looked good as well, maybe try that next time. There’s a cool map on the wall with pushpins of where folks are from, both world maps and just one for the United States. Plenty of dining space inside and benches outside. We will definitely be back.”

“Still getting going; but there wood fire over, fueled by Jack Daniels barrel slats, is pretty tasty. Service is fast and helpful. I hear they are working hard to finish this location and open and possibly Creole inspired place nearby. Happy to see the area growing and changing. Give them a try and dont be fooled by the mess. A good pie for the price and good selection of bottled and canned beer.”

“Excellent food! Awesome service! But the absolute highlight was our hostess. She Is from the town going back generations. We left learning the great history of the restaurant and town. Plus she is a great story teller and had us laughing a lot. This was the highlight of our trip to Nashville. Well worth the drive and would definitely do it again. Everyone was very nice and you could tell loved there job!”
