“Is a Waffle House a 5 star restaurant? No. Waffle House is what it is, fast food with sit down service. So my review is based on what it is. That being said, this location and any in Cookeville for that matter is hit and miss on service but not taste. That is the reason for the 4 star rating and why it is not a 5 star rating. Food is consistent and honestly if you keep the coffee full and get my order right, I am happy.”

It had either been sitting for a few minutes or the fryer needs an oil change. My husband had the big Colorado omelette, which he really likes and was pretty good. I would give them a second chance to see if the food came out better next time. Maybe it was just a busy morning.”

“Wasn't sure what to expect, but went and tried it out. We found a new Favorite Place to eat. There are several options on the menu and for what you get, not that bad priced. I have seen some reviews saying that it to pricey. I don't know where they eat but you can go get a burger and fries and it will end up costing as much. The food was great, lots of side options, and it was clean. I hate going to a place and it is dirty. When you go, get the Grape Salad, it is really good!!! I can't imagine any of the Chicken Salad not being great, but what we got was well worth the price. Can't wait to go back again!!”

“I've been eating at this Red Lobster with my family since it opened in the late 90s. It's usually pretty consistent, and the manager takes good care of his customers. Today I had the 6 oz. Salmon w/ a Baked Potato, Steamed Broccoli and a Caesar Salad. I love the Cherry Maple Glaze that comes on a chicken dish for salmon. It's delicious! Mine was wonderful, except the broccoli wasn't cooked quite enough. My mom got the Sailor's Platter, as did her sister. And my uncle got the catfish dinner. We were all happy with our lunch today. Our server was attentive and took great care of us.”

“One of the best restaurant experiences we've had in many years. So friendly the moment you walk in the doors, we were sat right away and greeted with chips and salsa in 30 seconds of sitting down. Our drink order came just as quick. The environment was joyful and pleasent. Our food came out looking and smelling hot and delicious, which it all was. “We went on many dates to the Rose Garden when my husband and I first met. So it definitely brings back memories to go in there and have a meal. Everyone is always very sweet and the service is great. The food has suffered a little bit over the past couple of years. I don't know if chefs changed or what really happened but it's just not as flavorful and as home-cooked as it used to be. It's a lovely place and we have great memories there, so we'll continue to go from time to time, but I do wish they would get their dishes back up to par with how they used to be.”
