I had the meal which had two small tacos and a little container of black beans and that was $12 which doesn’t include a drink in the meal. So for me, it was a bit disappointing. “We had another wonderful meal tonight. We started with the pork egg rolls.for an appetizer. Then we had the burrito with brisket and the pulled pork plate. They were both delicious. The pulled pork plate with 2 sides is a great value. I had the sweet potato fries and cole slaw. I could not finish it all and took a box home. But we had to have the cheesecake egg rolls for dessert. They are awesome. And the service was excellent as always.You must try this locally owned business.”

“Great selection of local craft beers. On Saturday night expect the usual wait time to get seated. Appetizer Pow-Pow Shrimp was properly spicy. So was our Steamed Shrimp (peel & eat), excellent Mac & cheese. Our French Dip sandwich was a miss, though. $15 for a so-so sandwich that could have used a bit more beef for that price. We also had some Tavern Chips: not so much. Over cooked, without salt that potato chips need. We also had to wait 40 minutes between order and our food. We could have gone out for a little shopping if we knew!”

“Food was exceptional, but more importantly, our server, Mark (or was it Marky?) was pretty much psychic and anticipated our every request without us even needing to say anything. We were on a late business dinner coming straight from the airport, so we ordered no alcoholic drinks and only gave him the basic accounting-dept-friendly tip, which I feel bad about. Kind of a crime on our part for the level of service he delivered. What a great job! Hopefully the restaurant gives him credit for the superstar he is after getting this 5-star review.”

“This was our first visit. I chose the southwest spicy chicken quesadilla. It was very good! My husband had the cheese steak sandwich with fries. When the food was brought to the table we were told his fries were almost ready. However, it took a bit longer than that. So we asked a lady working if she could check on where they were. My suggestion is to wait and bring them together. By the time we got the fries he was nearly halfway finished with his sandwich. The food was good but maybe coordinate the items on the order to come out together even if it is a slight wait. We do not live nearby but we would try it again.”
