I gave half to my brother and he loved it too. They also have a few odd assortment of things that normally would require a 10 minute or more drive to the closest store. (Milk, eggs, fishing stuff, shampoo, soap, ect) It's nice to have a restaurant in the neighborhood again. Definitely gonna make a point to go back while I live in the neighborhood. “This Shell station has clean restrooms, a well organized and maintained stock and good people. On my way to upper New York state I lost a credit card. I looked but did not find it. So I asked if it had been turned in. No. It had not. But they took my name and number, sure enough, called me a day later to say another customer had turned it in. But..... I am in upper state New York. They kept the credit card in their safe nearly two weeks and returned it to me after verifying my identity. I have always liked this place and the staff. Now I love this place!”

“I found this place on google on my way through TN and what a Gem of a place!! We got the house lo me in as well as some other dishes and they were all incredible. It's obvious everything is made fresh to order and every bite was better than the last. I can say for sure I'll be stopping again on my way home, and I highly encourage anyone in the area to stop in. The service was friendly and personable. Clearly a family owned restaurant that loves what they do and puts their heart into every dish.”

“We stopped as a family (6 of us), and had lunch. The staff was very friendly and very patient with our indecisive kids. They took our order and got everything correct. The food was really delicious. I had the catfish dinner and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rest of the family complimented on their dinner as well. The serving sizes were very generous. We had a great lunch in a place with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend as a place to stop.”

“Great waitress as always. Lettuce on salad bar has been a little worse for the wear the last few times been there. Always request my favorite pizza to be added to bar when first come in and always get one out no questions asked. Pizza that is on bar looks skimpy on toppings and very little sauce on it.”

This place seriously goes above and beyond with customer service and they have the business model to show for it. “So, the McDonald's location in general isn't bad. I had a short time working here, and a few of the managers were total jerks to the employees, even shouting out loud to one of the employees so the entire restaurant could hear it, even in the lobby. If you're just wanting to stop here while driving through on I-26, please, continue to a better location in Johnson City or beyond. If you live in Erwin, then this is the only McDonald's. It is a popular hangout spot in town, though, for some locals.”
