“Maple Street is an odd place, but that's what makes it great. You give them your order and then they ask you their "Question of the day" which is what they use to call out your order when it's ready. Their food is fantastic. Perfect biscuits every single time and their Fried Green Tomatoes are some of the best you can get. The employees are always very friendly and polite and the exterior/interior of the restaurant is always clean.”

The worst part is its next door to a nail salon and on a busy day, the harsh chemical smell is noticeable when you walk in the door. They are remodeling so hopefully this is addressed.”

“Girlfriend and I ate here a couple days ago and it was very good. The meat was tasty and very tender. We both got the platter and there was an abundance of meat, but the side helpings were a little small, but overall, we had plenty to eat. Both the slaw and beans were good. Only downsides is they only have sweet tea and we usually do half and half at restaurants as it is usually too sweet. We drank can drinks provided instead. They do not have a dining room, so you either eat outside at the table, eat in your car or take it home. I felt is was a very good value as for $16 for two people for a platter, it would cost more than that at most fast food places for a meal and a drink. I recommend Smokin Pig BBQ and will be going back.”

“The food at Poblanos is always excellent. The guacamole is truly something to write home about, and I loved my fajitas. My only complaint is that the servers need to be more clear about the menu. My husband is allergic to onions, and when he asked what came on nachos, he was told only meat and cheese, but when they arrived, onions and bell pepper were cooked with the shredder chicken.”

Our server Kaitlyn, exceeds our expectations every time, she is amazing, always makes sure our needs are met, and makes dining there fun. The food has been fresh and delicious every time we have eaten there which speaks volumes. With chain restaurants that is not always the case but the Johnson City, Chili's always seems to pull it off. So if you are having a bad day or a good one, stop by Chili's and enjoy their 2 for 1 happy hour, you will be glad you did!”

“Food isn't consistent. My mom enjoys it more than my husband and myself. She's undergoing chemo and that has made her mouth sensitive to many foods and she hasn't ordered anything here that irritates it. The yeast rolls (when good) are very similar to Ryan's/hometown buffet minus the honey butter. This is sadly the most exciting part for me. Food is decent, nothing better than what I make at home. I make real mac and cheese so I find theirs utterly disgusting. I also don't put sugar in my side dishes/veggies. I got the carrots once and couldn't eat them. Friendly staff every time we've been. Portions are decent, enough to fill you up. Not enough for a snack later. The specialty breads have been great every time we've been there.”
