“Love how they have a pizza display case only problem is they don’t make the pizza unless someone orders one! but at least you’re purified water is two bucks for the large bottle so that’s good, and my favorite part is when you’re trying to buy windshield washer fluid it’s priced at 4.99$ but in their computer system it’s 5.49$ + tax and YOU have to correct the cashier about the error somebody give those morning managers a cigarette!”

“Ate here for the first time today. Nice little family run restaurant. The fish was good. The onion rings were okay. There were 9 of us and everyone liked what they got. Reasonable priced. The owner, who is also the cook, is super nice, kept checking on us. I think the servers were his young son & daughter. They were also very nice and kept our drinks full. Definitely wouldn't mind going back. I think they have live entertainment sometimes on Saturday nights. If you are looking for someplace new for a change of pace, I would recommend you give them a try.”

“The food was very good, not to mention the friendliness of the staff. So glad they are back here on the mountain. I have had many taco salads in my lifetime, and this was the best I ever had. The hamburger was in a sauce for the salad and it was great. No sogginess what so ever, like some are. No seats or booths empty, and as we left more people was coming in. “I’m from Nashville and was on a trip to Burgess Falls in my Sprinter and was happy to see a clean, upscale rv resort near the entrance. It had plenty of well-managed rv pads for the toy hauler and class A rv crowd. The breakfast pizza was incredible and was prepared by the owners granddaughter. Hard to find nicer people than the staff that works here. The store was well stocked with everything you’d need on a road trip — including an ice cream bar!! Also loved the outdoor picnic tables and rocking chairs made by the local craftsmen. Most comfortable wood rocking chair I’ve ever sat in. Can’t rate this team and location high enough. Saved me on water and breakfast.”

“We weren't sure where to eat after hiking Burgess Falls, but turning out of the park, we saw this place. We thought we would check it out because they had outdoor seating and we had our dog with us. We got a burger, Patty melt, and grilled cheese with several sides to try out. Everything was really good. They also had options for some local meats, milks, cheese, ice cream, and some other local goods. It was a great place to grab a quick bite, cute little store on the inside, and don't forget the gooey butter cake/chess pie. It was delicious.”

“Restaurant has only been open a month here in town. Some people have complained about wait times, but that was not our experience, and will improve with time and more staff. I suggest being smart about the time of day. Drive by and check the parking lot out. Food was delicious. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner. If you like to eat at World Foods in Cookeville, you will like Achilles. Crepes (sweet and savory), gyros, pizza, baklava, kebabs, and even hamburgers for your pickier eaters. Plan on going back real soon. By the way, they are hiring now and need people to keep their restaurant improving. Check their Facebook page for details.”

“A really great place full of folks that make you feel like family. Frank and Diana are great hosts. Their prices and food are great as is the live music. I'll continue to visit as this place is tops for the food, beer and family atmosphere. They're going to be adding beer from a local brewery to their offerings which I'm looking forward to trying. “Their pizza is the best of what's available locally, but at double the price. They can't make it in this town. 3 topping Dominoes for $7.99. Even the gas station pizza (Hunt Bros) is a better deal. $6 and $7 pizza at Little Caesar's, $10 gets you 2 liter coke and breadsticks with it. $17 pizza is for towns with more money than here. Sorry. Enjoy while it lasts.”
