Dean's HOT Chicken and Waffles

I have to say that this is not going to be my favorite place. I didn't like the chicken at all. The only thing was that the chicken tasted like it was dumped in salt. The fries and drinks were good. This place is clean and does have very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was fresh. Just work on the spice on the chicken, guys. That's the only thing I found wrong. Otherwise, I'd have given you 5 stars.

The food here is EXCELLENT!! The garlic parmesan sauce, honey gold sauce, strawberry waffles are probably the best I've had. That's why I put 3 stars, and those reasons are why I consistently go back. However, the customer service is awful, they are not friendly at all, not even the owner. Hours aren't consistent, they run out of stuff a lot (like waffles) and getting thru to place a to go order sometimes is hopeless, especially in the evenings after a certain time.

I’ve had Hattie B’s and Prince’s and neither of those can even compare to DEAN’s. This is far and away the best Nashville Hot Chicken I’ve ever had.

It truly feels like a down home diner when you walk in. The staff are incredibly nice and always check to make sure you’re enjoying the food.

If you're going to be in the Lebanon area you're going to have to try Dean's hot chicken. It's the best chicken ever always hot and fresh. And the best service around. ????

If you're looking for Hattie B's, look elsewhere. This chicken is its own thing and it's damn good. I got the hot tenders, but I think I could have easily done the "too hot." I was super full after three tenders, they're big, juicy, and made to order so you may have to wait a bit. It's worth the wait, so just try it.
