“Huge fan of their pork tacos! I recently tried their chicken sandwich which was delicious as well. We normally get their taco platter which is plenty for two (and four, when we have guests) so we always have leftovers. They're not really consistent with what they offer/how they cut stuff, though. The first time we went they included some potatoes. Went the next week after, no potatoes. Taco toppings are cut differently each time we go (not really a deal breaker, just an observation).”

“My husband, a native Texan, and I stopped by La Familia to thank them for their provision of food to the first responders to the Salado tornado. They were closed several days feeding these heroes. Today, it was business as usual and we got their special, a giant burrito. It was the absolute BEST burrito either one of us have ever had, and we’re no spring chickens! It was huge and packed full of seasoned meat, rice, beans and fresh vegetables. Recommend everyone stop by and thank them for supporting the clean-up efforts and grab yourself a burrito!!”

Usually a little picky or don't eat very much but those cheese burgers disappeared and nothing but yummy in their opinion. I had the steak finger plate with okra and Mac n cheese. Could not eat the entire serving as it is awesome delicious and generous! Took home and had the best lunch the next day. Steak finger are super tender and the breading STAYS ON THE MEAT, even the next day! The fried okra was tender and also so tasty. Definitely recommend the home-cooked style of the cooking!!”
