“I made a mistake coming to this place. And I'm glad I did. I've had four to five different items. All of them were wonderful. I will always complain about the price of pasta, but you got to realize they're running a restaurant. That being said prices are very decent especially for the quantity you get. I don't get desserts, I've had three different desserts since I've gone here. Big desserts wonderful flavor. You will certainly not be disappointed.”

“Chicken was good. Hot, flavorful and juicy. Only one staff member had good customer service. The other was cold, smug and disconnected to the customer. I don't care how good the food is. Additionally, their hair was a mess and needed hair nets. If the staff is not welcoming, the experience is no longer worth it. Besides the chicken, the salad was wilted, grilled chicken was rubber (more than likely microwaved) and fries were dry. Slim chickens is not worth the drive from Alamo Ranch.”

“Golden Chick was pretty good. I got roasted chicken, which had a nice flavor. I got a side salad, but the I want a fan. It was a bit too wilted and didn't taste great. My husband bought the six piece chicken strip meal. He loved it. He got half and half spicy and regular. The spice does have a kick, but you won't need to drink too cool it down. It's still enjoyable. The rolls are usually great, but today they were a bit old. Still tasted great, but they weren't as soft. The fries have a nice flavoring and crisp exterior. Great fries! My son got a kid's meal with a fruit salad. He enjoyed everything. If you're looking for a quick chicken meal, I'd recommend trying Golden Chick.”

“Came here with the family for lunch on a Saturday. I had a steak burrito, and we also had a couple of orders of various tacos. The very nice lady gave us some fresh salsa for the tacos, and it was very tasty with nice spice. The kids loved their tacos, which is certainly not the usual result, so we were happy. My burrito was very good, with good quality meat. Good size too. Will be back for sure.”

“Came here for dinner with the family on a Sunday night for dinner. Got sampling of just about all of their meat offerings. Ribs had a unique taste, and were very good! The brisket was a fan favorite. The beans we got for a side were good. Potato salad was very good. Mac and cheese got poor reviews from everyone though, especially from the kids. They did make a couple of grilled cheeses for the kids though, so they ended up happy. The pickle bar was also good, with jalapenos and onions available.”

A very beautiful place where you can and feel the energy of days gone past before us. In the main dining area there is a strange sense your not alone, even if no one is inside at the time. I would love to do a paranormal investigation at this location, automatically as I arrived you could feel a much higher charge in the air, not in a negative way however. I feel there is much residual energy as their is intelligent energy. Beautiful property, friendly people”
