“Been craving jollof rice since I got out to San Antonio, sadly there isn’t many African food places here. Tried a few popular places here and it just wasn’t very good. Decided to try here today, absolutely the best decision I’ve made. I got the jollof rice, goat meat and fried plantain combo. Absolutely amazing, the flavor is wonderful and the spice is perfect. The goat meat is tender and the plantains are sweet. So happy I decided to go here today, and plan to be a regular customer! Highly recommend to anyone looking to have some genuine African food for a great price & sizable portions!”

“I have always liked Dairy Queen, this particular location has been here for quite some time. They're always friendly. The last two times I've come here I ordered tacos and they are pretty good. Though yesterday I had ordered six tacos three of them came with a good amount of tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and meat. The other three were very skimpy on the lettuce and meat and no tomatoes. I did not notice till I got home. That was kind of lame, but it will not stop me from going back again.”

“This was our first time here and it’s close to where we live so we stopped by to try it out. The staff was friendly and courteous. They quickly gave us a seat and took our order. The food came out a few minutes later. I ordered the beef with wide noodles with a spicy level of 5. I’m not sure if the broth for the soup is oily or if that’s contributed by selecting spicy level 5. The soup was very oily to the point that I couldn’t finish it. I could already tell I was going to get heartburn. I’ve eaten spicy soups from other places before and none have tasted oily like this place. I’m not sure if it’s different with a no spicy level, but we probably won’t be back to find out. My girl had the Mongolian beef with fried rice and an egg roll. The fried rice tasted like it was burnt and hard. The beef was tender and seasoned well. The egg roll was really good! If you’re around the area then give them a try. Again, the spicy level of 5 might be the contributing factor as to why my soup was so oily.”

“It's a national chain so you know what you get here. I like a little of everything for breakfast and you can get that here. The portions are large so you will leave full. My wife and order so that between her breakfast and mine we pretty much get a little of everything and we share. The service was good and they move people through fast. At first we were told it may be a 10 min wait and within 3 or 4 we were seated.”

“I rather enjoyed my first, but certainly not my last, visit to King Buffet. There is plenty of food and the majority of it tastes good.It's very rare to go get food and whatever dish it is is empty. They are very quick on replacing the empty dishes. There is a Mongolian grill and a decent spread of sushi (for a buffet). I can't give five stars as it is only a better than average buffet, not blow my socks off with flavor. All in all, I will be going back for both better than average buffet food and a respectable price.”
