Stella Public House

A great little location with a warm environment. The food was very nice. We ordered the mushroom cheese and mac, mushroom pizza, and the chocolate pecan bread pudding. The serving size for the bread pudding and cheese mac was too small for the price, kinda felt like a kids portion. Although the flavors were very good. The mushroom pizza was flavorful and nicely done. Would love that one all over again. The only serious downside was the service was seriously lacking, there were other tables that were served and done way ahead of us. I don’t like to be rushed through my meal but we were forgotten about. Would suggest you bring some form of flag, flair gun, or other signaling device.

This place has a nice beer list and a lot on tap. Food was great and service was even better. Cozy atmosphere and definitely worth the visit! Would come back again.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Antonio. I crave their lamb meatball pizza. The wild mushroom mac n cheese is velvety and has just the perfect amount of truffle so that it's not over powering. I've come back over the years and continued to have a great experience. I know I can't go wrong with eating here. Always willing to go back!

Being new to San Antonio, we wanted to search for a pizza place for date night and came across Stella Public House via Google. We were promptly seated despite it being a Friday night. Our waiter Miles was very attentive and made us feel welcomed. We ordered two pizzas and were enjoying ourselves so much that we kind of forgotten about the second pizza not being at the table until Miles came back and informed us himself that it was delayed. A manager came over and apologized about the mishap, but we hardly were aware of it until they brought it up. I really appreciated them being upfront with us. The taste of the food and the service combined really sold this place for us.

TL;DR - Food was delicious, service and overall experience was great. We'll be coming back :)
