While there I asked myself “Did I die and go to heaven?”. We sat outside, beautiful peaceful day. The breeze was perfect, birds chirping. Tables and area were clean. Service was attentive and kind. Waffles were a perfect blend of crispy outside and soft inside, served with warm syrup. House Coffee was delicious and gift shop sales it as well. Parking is large and free.

Food was on point, a huge fan of the chicken waffles, one of the better waffles I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was great. I will say I initially missed the parking spot as it was inside a fenced area with a few trucks that looked nothing like you'd expect. Once you see the venue however it's a great little spot on the river. Great place for breakfast or brunch!!

Dined with my family on Easter Sunday while visiting San Antonio. Beautiful location. Reasonably priced menu. Great coffee and delicious food! Would definitely go back if in the area again.

I have been wanting to visit this spot since I saw it in the Food Network. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The pancakes were DELICIOUS!! The fresh fruit was sweet and juicy. The biscuits were huge..not the best I’ve had but ok. Everything else was pretty good. The service was excellent as well. I didn’t get a chance to sample the pastries (I was too stuffed) but they looked tasty. The restaurant definitely has an old, historic feel. It is part of a museum/flour mill that has been operating since the 1800s, which was really cool. Overall, I had a great experience and would visit again

I enjoy coming to The Guenther House. It's more for the atmosphere than the food. The food isn't special but I've liked what I've had so far. The service is really good, coffee and waters are never empty here. Be prepared for the wait though. I've never been seated right away even with a reservation.
