We found the food and service at Botika to be excellent. I had a Bento Box with a mix of Japanese and Peruvian items. It was wonderful. We ate outside on the patio which provided a extra margin of safety. Masks required in site in the Pearl grounds.

We stopped in for lunch at Botika after entering San Antonio for the first time (visiting from NY) and was impressed with the good tasting food. We ordered the Ahi Tuna for appetizer and though it was a bit different or not as sweet of a sauce compared to what we’re used to, it was satisfying and tasty.
Our chicken noodle and fried rice bowls were both savory and delicious as well and just what we were looking for. I personally enjoyed the deep fried egg plant cubes as well as the sweet drop peppers that were included in the dishes.
The ambiance definitely made us feel like we were on vacation and for me personally, combined with the music, I thought I was in the Caribbean for a moment. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. She took the time to explain the menu as well as assisted us in ordering the meals once she understood what we were looking for. However, they may have been a bit understaffed given it was Monday and we could have used a bit more attention at our table.
The cocktails were refreshing and satisfying in taste however, it lacked sufficient alcohol.
Overall this was a good experience. I feel the menu is a bit confusing and can use improvement. The food is also a bit on the greasy side since some of the ingredients are deep fried. Cutting back on the oil or grease will be something that may appeal to customers. A bit more alcohol in the caipirinha is recommended as well.
It was an overall good and appreciated experience and I look forward to visiting Botika on any future visit to San Antonio.

Came here to celebrate Valentines. Atmosphere and food were amazing!. We had the Octopus, short rib noodles, sweet buns, and empanadas for desert. Everything was packed full of layers of flavor and cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a change in pallet I would recommend this place all day.

The environment is very relaxed and intimate. The food was amazing. We had some sushi and the yakasoba noodles and the meat was incredibly tender. The pot stickers were also very good. The cocktail we ordered was not the greatest. The portions are meant for family style dining but we could split between two people and it was the right amount. Our waiter did not come by as often as we would have liked.

What a lovely restaurant! We enjoyed every dish we got. Short rib noodles was my favorite. The meat was juicy and tender. Every ingredients in that dish complemented each other perfectly. The server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes.
