“A friend recommended we try this newly opened restaurant in our area. She had oatmeal and toast and I had breakfast tacos. She enjoyed her oatmeal but felt it lacked flavorings/additions like fresh fruit and nuts. I had a delicious country sausage and egg taco and a chiliquilles taco. The tacos were quite generous with fillings and very flavorful as well. I could have made two tacos out of one, lesson learned ☺️. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. We felt like their breakfast plates were pricier than other places we frequent which is why she tried the oatmeal and I had tacos. Overall, a great place for breakfast tacos and a nice addition to the neighborhood.”

“A delightful neighborhood gem, Mian Noodles is a must try for fresh and delicious dumplings, noodles (hot and cold), and small bites (street food). Be sure to enjoy Mian's house sauce with your dumplings (chef's kiss). In addition to amazing food, Mian's staff is friendly, engaged, and happy to walk you through the nuance of the menu. I highly recommend... cheers!”

“I was craving sushi and stumbled into Bluefin, their sushi did not disappoint! Here’s the rundown: Food: They have a massive list of choices, but I wanted to have a light meal, so I went with the basics: a classic spicy roll with tuna and a Dragon roll. They provided me a basic side salad with cut up shrimp as a special. It was tasty, but the shrimp was a bit chewy. The spicy roll was good, but it was missing the spice. The highlight was The Dragon Roll; it might be one of the best I have ever had! It had the right portions, fresh taste and overall enjoyable. The downfall of my meal was the Tempura Cheesecake the first bite was delectable, but the inside was still frozen and had a pasty taste. It was another special on the house; I hadn’t originally asked for a dessert, but they said it was for grand opening. I’m not much of a sweets guy, so I’m not really an authority on the topic, but I would’ve been content without. The Service: Two words (or is it one?): World -Class. I might be biased because I was the sole patron at the time, but It felt like every employee was there to serve me. But seriously, my main server was so kind and helpful. She explained the best sushi, and how they differed (I’m sorry I wasn’t that hungry)! I would have taken any of her suggestions, if I had a larger apatite. Everyone was on their a-game and was super kind. They made me feel very welcomed. The Atmosphere: Again, I might not be the best person to ask, but it was very comfortable; I sat at the sushi bar. It was fun to watch them make the rolls, but it did feel like they were watching me while waiting for me to order..I digress. I feel like this place has a lot of potential to be a real good time! However, they had this guitar player who was singing to.. well me, and the staff. This musician had his moments, but when he started singing Charlie Puth, it was time to go.. he was EXCELLENT with his country and rock covers. Misc. As of yesterday, they didn’t have their liquor license, so that was a miss. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend EVERYONE check them out!”

“Run! Don’t walk here! Went today for Mother’s Day and while it was crowded, and our server warned us the kitchen was behind, food came out quick and was amazing! We did the choose 4 bruschetta and we picked the Brie Apple Fig Spread, Prosciutto di Parma with fig and marscapone, sweet ‘n’ spicy pepper jam and goat cheese, and burrata bacon arugula and tomato. Wow! Each one was fresh and amazing! We could have stopped there but decided to do the chef’s charcuterie. My goodness the whipped feta on there was amazing! Everything was well balanced. Of course I had to have wine and the prices are awesome! If you like a dry white I definitely recommend the Herencia Altes. It was so crisp that I bought a bottle to take home! We decided to split the ice cream with cookie butter swirl. Sometimes the simplest desserts are the best! It was the perfect ending to our meal. Servers and staff are extremely friendly and no matter how crazy it gets in there, they still take the time to chat! We loved our waiter!!! We will be back!”

“Half chicken (leg, wing, thigh, breast) with rice, 2 baked potatoes, tortillas, fixens. Chicken was not overdone, it was moist and flavorful, rice was just right (not too dry or undercooked). Baked potatoes were standard. Was enough food for two. Will certainly head back again and look forward to the brick/mortar being finished.”

“The coffee is good. The food is good. The service is always friendly, but can y’all PLEASE stop having customers in the drive through hold your clipboard for several minutes while you finish the order. It takes two seconds to sign the receipt. The clip board and pen are gross and dirty every time. Then y’all expect me to grab the food/drink while I still have the clipboard in my hand and haven’t had the chance to sanitize my hands.”

“Beerhead has exceeded my expectations many times now, every time I have been here the atmosphere is always very easygoing and a great vibe! I love the food here, specially the Pretzels, highly recommend them! Also every staff member is very nice and helpful, always making sure that the costumers are satisfied. My server recently was named Kierra and I have never had a better experience with a server, she truly knows how to do her job well, always attentive and gave great recommendations as to what to eat and drink here. Overall, amazing place! I highly recommend:)”

“Finally got the chance to check out this place so close to where I live after having known about it for months! Of course, I had to try their seasonal offerings: King Cake Latte (hot) and the King Cake Velvet Ice. The latte was strong, smooth, and of perfect temperature. The KC Velvet was great as well, though a little too sweet for me. Had the cranberry orange muffin, heated perfectly with the top having that perfect crunch but kept the inside moist. Service was courteous and quick. The atmosphere was airy and bright but still calm. Can't wait to go back and explore more of their offerings”

“Reading all these reviews and I think people forget there are pretty much nothing but kids that work here and all around this area. We come here VERY often and yes the wait may be longer than usual sometimes but the food is always fresh and delicious. Despite how busy they get these kids are there hustling and keep their composure because these adults are so impatient. Kudos to these kids just trying to make a buck. Don’t let these other reviews fool you. Had to come post a good review today because tonight we went and had to wait an extra 25 minutes but food was fresh and our order was correct! orders kept coming in and the kids were doing their thing! Keep it up!!”

“2nd time eating at CAVA. This time, we ate at a location where we could watch them make the food right in front of us. It is SOOO much better than the digit only type restaurant. We spoke with people to order. We paid them directly. This is excellent service.”

“I will start with the service which I bet in a year this will be irrelevant, if you’re a new customer dining in just be patient with the employees it clear everyone is still getting it together and learning how to service their guest. It was a bit wild when I visited and everyone was all over the place and the waiter and manager on duty were great even though you can tell they were stretched & like I said a year from now they will be pros. The pizza and the craft beer is why we’re all here and they can’t loose. Amazing food”

“I had an awesome time at this gem in Stone Oak! The interior is stylish, with every little detail, from the beautiful dishes and glasses to the meticulously decorated meals, screaming excellence. The staff are incredibly friendly. But let's talk about the real deal – the syrniki are out of this world! It’s a rare treat for breakfast lovers. I'm ecstatic to discover this culinary treasure right here in San Antonio – a rare find that's now part of our dining scene! They also have a nice selection of crepes, both sweet and savory. Already planning my next visit to try the one with smoked salmon and the crepe cake – it looks too good to resist!”

“This is hands down the NICEST poker/bar and lounge in town! It is beautifully decorated, the drinks are so pretty and the vibe is super swanky without being pretentious. They have a gorgeous dinner lounge with an outdoor patio separate from the poker room and a DJ on the weekends. The staff is also super friendly and if you want to support Veterans this place is owned and operated by one! I will definitely come back to try the food and play a little poker!”

“I've been here 3 times since it opened lol. All 3 times I had no issues. Good customer service, the wait was reasonable considering the long line and the salads are SO GOOD! I will definitely be going back during my lunch breaks. Under $10 for a tasty salad, my new favorite spot!”

“I’ve been looking for a while and I finally found an Italian restaurant that’s actually authentic and not just Olive Garden quality! This place is the BOMB! We had the bread service, baked mussels, caprese (sooo good!) , truffle tortellini (OMG) and the pork Milanese. If you want delicious Italian food THIS is the place!”

“I went yesterday and they are still are in their soft opening. Thai Hut is back! You know that that means! The yummy cheese rolls are back in force! If you haven't tried it, it's a must here. I did miss the people here and glad they are back. I had the nice green tea with my green curry with chicken, my daughter had the bowl of chicken and rice soup with thier chicken dumplings. Everything was great! You must come here if you have a hankering for Thai!”

“Absolutely phenomenal food. We had the Sunday roast dinner, ham, eggs and chips, chicken and mushroom pie as well as a pot of Yorkshire tea. The gravy on the roast is divine! The flake of the pastry is perfection. Every layer of food is seasoned perfectly, you can tell they take care in making each item. Not pictured was the chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding which were the best I've had, particularly the pudding. The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. This has become a new favorite spot for our family.”

“For Daddy-daughter dinner, we thought to visit @billiejean_stoneoak. It’s a restaurant that is 4 weeks into its soft opening and located in Stone Oak. Definitely an 80s vibe with the music and the arcade games. While waiting, I play Ms. Pac Man, which brought many memories. For a Tuesday, they had quite a crowd. Happy hour on Mondays through Thursdays is from 2pm - Midnight! Dad had Sprite and I had the Pina Colada on happy hour. So cute that my drink came with a little duck and fun straw (both which I got to keep!). Street Tacos were $1 so we tried them. They were good. I ordered the Billie Jean Burger, patty made fresh with 70% prime brisket and 30% bacon. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the dipping fries were crunchy and addictive. We also tried the Bone In Chicken Wings and had the sauces on the side (sweet teriyaki and BBQ). The wings came with fries too, and were slightly on the dry side. We had plenty of food to take home. David, the GM, came to check in on us. I would recommend stopping by and checking this place out.”

“This place just opened up literally right across the street from our neighborhood; so with convenience like that we wanted to go check it out. Think we've found our new go-to for pizza take out. We decided to walk in, order, and wait. Everyone was friendly and talked us through the menu. I loved that the smallest size was reasonably priced enough so that everyone could get exactly water they wanted. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and they were generous enough to throw in an order of pizza rolls. Food was ready quickly and still piping hot when we got it home. Crust was perfect! Soft and chewy on the i side, crispy on the outside. Pizza rolls were yummy. Soft and cheesy. They gave us a cup of jalapeno ranch and a cup of basil ranch to try for dipping. They were both good but I think next time I'd prefer a cup of plain ol' Marinara. It was a great experience all around and we will definitely be back!”

“Edited: I grew up going to the original location . The Shipley's locations in San Antonio have done a pretty good job. However I do have one gripe or complaint. Unfortunately out of all the donuts I don't buy, I do not buy Apple fritters from them anymore, or Boston cream. For that, I go down the street to a chain competitor. The reason is consistency and quality. I don't like eating Apple fritters that are a cinnamon twist filled with apple pie filling. Fritters are in fact what the name says, a fritter. Meaning fried and somewhat crunchy. Update: Thank you for making a fritter the way it is supposed to be! This was absolutely delicious as it implies. No more gooey apple pie filling ball of dough. You keep making them like this, and I will keep buying them! Thank you.”
