“Update (21-Jan-22): Kent responded to my review below. He was very apologetic, and sent me certificates to go back and give it another shot. That was quite a while ago, as I was traveling often between Illinois and Texas and lost the certificates. But when we moved back to Texas I found them while unpacking. Since we were going to Alvin on last Friday we decided to stop by and try again. What a difference from last time! Both the food and the service were great! I'm sure we will be stopping by again. It appears that they must have been just having a bad day last time. I was able to meet Kent, and he seems to be a really nice guy that is genuinely concerned about his customer's experience Original review: What a disappointment! It's been quite a few years since we were last there. I don't know what happened, but this trip is a one-star, and last time in would have been at least four-stars. The food was awful. Just awful. Won't be back.”

“Today is November 6, 2023. I attended a friends daughter quinceanera this past weekend. My friend hired Tacos “El Goloso” for the event. There were well over a hundred people show up not including the kids. I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I saw the long line of people and how long it would take them to serve everyone in a timely fashion. especially since I got in line really late. They knocked it out of the park. The line moved fast and as people walked by they would stop for a second to say hello but I could not help to notice how good the tacos looked. The plates were full of goodness. I just hoped they tasted as good as they looked. But before I could get to the front of the line, word was already spreading how good the food was. And they were right! The service was quick and served with a smile, they had all the fixings on the side I’m talking authentic Mexican tacos. I was so happy for my friend that this company did not let her and her guest down for such a mild stone in her daughters life. Everyone had a great time the rest of the night. Tacos El Goloso I give you two thumbs up. Well Done my friend. May God bless your company with many more successes.”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten taco all over my pants due to not having anything to eat it on. The plate saved my pants today. The tacos were AWESOME and I will be returning.”

“I come here to study and Im usually here (I'm here now lol) about 3 to 5 hours when I come. I have 2 to 3 drinks and a meal or snack and I tip well. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they make an amazing whipped coffee, I get it every time. Its setup for people to study or chill and read your favorite book. I hope during fall break I can sneak in and just read a good book instead of Statistics! Great vibe and atmosphere. Highly recommend!!! Oh and free wifi and its quiet!”

“Holy Smokes! My wife had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato and I had the Crispy Buffalo Wrap. Both were excellent and the fries were perfect. This place has limited hours because their primary focus is catering, so make sure you go when they are open (hours listed on Google and website). This place is a hidden gem so get out there and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. If you're one to support local businesses like we are, support this one. We will definitely be back soon. ???”
