Second time to visit Nikki's. This time was a little better than the first. We had a party of 7 dining last night. Natalie, our server, was on top of everything. She did an amazing job. The only real con on this visit was the iced tea, which was sour. The other con was that they didn't have sugar-free syrup. They need to get some. The food was good.

Staff new but need some training or manager to check in. We came in an hour before closing one other table. Dropped my shrimp on the floor and just kind of ignored that it happened. It was a $20 fried shrimp plate of 7 large shrimp? Also tea was sour. Let waitress know and she brought another sour tea. The food was cooked well and served hot as it should be. My husband ordered country fried steak.. He ate it all and said okay but nothing spectacular. Food was average good country cooking kind of tasted like higher quality Costco freezer food reheated well? My daughter had eggs and waffles with bacon and it was okay.. Nothing to write home about but not bad either. BONUS I didn't have to cook and the waitstaff was pleasant. Prices were average as well.

We will try again as it is close and nice for when I don't want to make dinner, but really because I sent tea back and drank water and lost a large shrimp a Manager should have come by or the waitstaff should have at least taken off the sour tea on the ticket. TIP Tea sours when left out all day, if slower chill it and it will last the day or if dispenser is not cleaned. I think probably the prior since it is a new place and not alot of customers yet.

Absolutely delightful brunch at this new, beautifully decorated restaurant. The employees are genuinely friendly and caring & the atmosphere relaxing and casual. We especially enjoyed the family friendly old school county music. I can't express what a great time we had, & we'll absolutely return. Thank you all for a wonderful meal.

As a top 1% local reviewer & top 10% Google eatery reviewer; I highly recommend you take time out to also enjoy this wonderful new restaurant. You'll be pleased you did!

We had a turkey sandwich and chicken fried chicken.

Good: sweet cornbread was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive. Music was loud in front, glad we were seated in the back. Decor was cute and table was nice.

Bad: Overall, fairly bland food but served hot and looked appetizing. Staff needs training. Out of 4 tables, 3 had something come out incorrectly, including mine. It was fixed quickly. Mac and cheese was just kraft, not creamy. It was described quite different on the menu and not at all what you expect for a country cafe. Chicken was rubbery in spots. Mashed potatoes and gravy were fine. Turkey was not plentiful, it was just sandwich meat. It was a good price for what you got, so my husband was fine with his meal. Tea was way oversweet and only a few pieces of ice.

Additional thoughts: plates are needed with cornbread. People were eating over napkins. Make sure your staff comes to get a drink order. We were asked if we had time to look at the menus so we ordered and then stopped him as he walked away to order a drink. I saw a lot of people without drinks,, that's a missed opportunity. Margarine mentioned as an ingredient on your menu, big turn off. I don't see us returning, but I wish you the best of luck.
