“If you're not from around here, you would probably drive passed Nena's, and not even realize what a local gem you've passed. They have delicious food, great service, and the best salsa around! The down side is all the Cowboys propaganda on the walls, lol but we won't fault them for it, I guess. The food's great taste supersedes their taste for football teams. “Best chopped beef you will find. Beans are superb. Staff is great. Eating inside is a plus because they are always playing 90s country radio and you will never get bored looking at the walls. I have been eating here for a couple of decades and still haven't had a bad experience. Once I even looked up from my plate and saw none other than Ron Paul sitting at the table next to me answering an interviewers questions with bbq sauce all over his face. That says it all.”

“Good food. Chef was nice and interactive. The Hibachi is perfect if you're not in a bit of a hurry, or are looking for a quiet dinner to talk amongst your date. If you are looking for the Hibachi, (great for kids) once you get sat if there are more seats you will more than likely have to wait till the table fills up. You will also be sitting elbow to elbow with your neighbors. You can sit in the dining area and still order from the Hibachi. Not as entertaining but still good food and atmosphere.”

I think they are making good progress on the work they are doing to modernize it. I am also glad to see some of the employees stay over with the new owners.
