It's seriously all about the rolls, which are dynamite and inexpensive. The ambience is a bit ramshackle, but loveably so— basically an unfinished lobby serving as a walk-up order window (no seating). Staff is pleasant, attentive, and proud of their product, and it's easy to see why. Pizza /sausage /fajita, rolled in a chewy dough and baked until the outside is shiny and flaky and the insides are a delicious, gooey mess. They put a similarly-named Double Dave's menu item to shame.
First time trying, and I really like this place! I would say if you’re in a hurry, call ahead to order. Super yummy and fresh pizza rolls and homemade ranch for a reasonable price!
Today was our first trip to The Rolled Dough Co. We didn't really know what to expect but I have to say that the Pepperoni rolls were really good as well as the Fajita roll. We tried the s'mores and cinnamon rolls as well. The only problem... We did not buy more... My daughter immediately asked, "When are we going back to that place?" Amazing food and nice people.
This place is really close to where I recently started working so I've been here a couple times.
The pizza rolls were VERY hot, which indicates they make them fresh.
I do feel like there's a little bit of a wait even if you don't get too much. The first time I went I had to wait for like fifteen minutes for just two rolls but they did apologise for the wait and throw in an extra roll.
The second time I had to wait for almost ten minutes for one roll (unfortunately there wasn't a freebie this time).
To be fair, I don't really know how long it usually takes to make pizza rolls, so it's likely they make fresh pizza rolls the fastest that they can reasonably do.
I really like their rolls. They taste delicious and kind of savory to me. Athough I feel like the inside is just a little too gooey, I understand that comes down to personal preference and a lot of people probably really like it's level of doughiness.
The Rolled Dough Co. is a new local business that I'd encourage everyone in the area to try out. Get a couple pizza rolls sometime.
Reasonable prices and very good pepperoni rolls. The bread is more tender than what you will find over at Double Dave's (I find both appealing but The Rolled Dough Co. has the upper hand.) No seating in the interior as of now and has the appearance of a startup but this does not detract in any way from the quality of the food. I intend to return to sample the rest of the menu. Do note the pin marker on the map has them incorrectly listed inside of H-E-B. They are located beside Cricket near Texas ave.
