“I have been to many BBQ places and have my "list" of favorites. My list includes places in Atlanta, Memphis, Austin, Dallas and NC. A couple of these places have been on Triple D. The meats are perfectly smoked with a crust on the brisket. The sides are excellent and the bourbon pecan pie was amazing. All of this said, I can't stop thinking about the House BBQ sauce. Wow! I hope you get to pay this fine BBQ treasure a visit. Enjoy!”

“This is a long time favorite in the downtown Bryan area. The food was good. It has a restaurant built in an old Woolworths store kind of ambiance. The service was good if a little slow. 39 bucks for two small salads, two teas, two slices of pizza and a 14 inch pizza. It was good but felt a little pricey. I'd go back and skip the rabbit food.”

“I'm truly shocked that I've never left a review for the Monkey. This is one of my definite go to in Historic Downtown Bryan. Food: Get the fries. Don't waffle back and forth try to make it decision... Just get them. You will not be disappointed. You can't go wrong with any of the tacos and the chorizo burger is just amazing. That said, my go-to burger here is the Willie Norris. I always substitute blue cheese... And it is perfect every single time. Drinks: they've got a wide range of beer and the staff will always give you a good recommendation. The mixed drinks are fantastic. The ice cream martinis are to die for.”

“Best place we've eaten outside of Austin all the way to east Texas. Finger licking good ribs, crunchy catfish to remember! If it is open, we will be sure to stop.”

“Atmosphere and service was heavy for a quaint little restaurant. Many vegetarian options as well which is a good reason I will be returning when I go into downtown Bryan. My only quarrel was that the belle nonna had too much sauce for my liking but the flavor was great. I really want to come back to try the meatless meatloaf. Great menu, great service, great atmosphere.”

“This place has some great pizza! My favorite is the mac and cheese pizza; when I went it was a special so I hope they put it on the regular menu. They also have a great brunch. The sunrise tots were really great. The pizza's are large enough to easily share or take home for later. Easily one of my favorite pizza places in town”

“The food was excellent! I got the chicken fried steak with macaroni & cheese and a sweat potato! So so yummy!!!! Also the portions were very generous. Lastly the service was great. The server(Rosie) was very attentive to our needs, gave the baby crackers to snack on while we waited on our meals(without being asked), and was very friendly and professional! Would definitely recommend!”

“We finally got a chance to taste the food that our daughter keeps bragging about. It's home away from home for her. Their crawfish is excellent. The customer service is superb. Can't wait to try other dishes.”

“I always come here after a long shift and much needed food. I tend to skip meals often because I work so much, but I always crave Panda. Staff are ALWAYS so friendly. Never had a bad experience with the 2 years I've been coming here. Keep it up.”

“My family and I stopped here for lunch after the rodeo. We had 15 people (3 of which were wheelchairs) not knowing it was a small building. The owners were so wonderful! They put together 4 tables for us and made sure we were all well taken care of! The food was amazing, especially the cabbage!!! YUM!!! We will definitely be coming back here when we are in town! The customer service can not be beat!!! God Bless! :)”

“The sandwiches are great. The amount of selections of what is inside the sandwich are little. The decoration of the restaurant is old and I know how Potbelly started their business, but they should upgrade their game to compete with other competitors. I have tried it in Dubai and it tastes much better. The restroom soup and napkins are not working and the sink is in bad condition. They need to work on cleaning the restaurant more often. The prices are a bit high. That's why it is usually not crowded.”

“It's not very expensive to get in. The staff are always nice when I go, it does get crowded depending on what night you go, because it's a limited space. The DJ is good, I usually have a fun time, but the less people in there the less fun you'll have depending on your usual type of club night. If you don't like to dance or your not an actual night club type of person this might be your scene on a not so busy night. But don't let that discourage you from going! This place is usually fun.”

“I can always rely on them for late pizza nights, with amazing discounts and fresh food you will love Domino’s. They definitely go out of their way to make you pleased with your meal. Try em out and don’t forget to grab chocolate lava cakes they are so good!”

“Ran a Favor for a client. Hadda use restroom, careful, it doesn't lock. They don't have packets of cheese and peppers, so gotta request for them to be made, which they did very accommodatingly. Since the location to where I delivered the pie was quite far, I'm gonna say the pie is really good here. The place was very full, another indicator food must be good. I'm not a pizza eater, but it DID smell tasty.”

“Cool name & story, but not really a BBQ place. More like a sandwich place that serves up sandwiches with premixed brisket & bbq sauce amongst other flavors like egg and bacon. Good sandwich mind you, no problem with food or service. They were fast & friendly. Kid behind the counter said they would start serving meat by the pound in several weeks. However, was in from out of town on business and wanted real BBQ (brisket, sausage, etc) before heading back. Would have gone to another place but was crunched for time. Swing and a miss, but if you're looking for a hearty sandwich, this'll do.”

“The first time I went here they were out of sweet potatoes but this second time there was no problem. I ordered their breakfast-themed baked potato (name???) to go. It took a little while to come out (I was the only customer) but not too long. It was larger than what I remembered (maybe the first time I ordered half a potato?) but it was incredibly delicious. Best baked potato I’ve ever had. Next time I’ll probably save half of it for later but I was in a rush to drive home for the weekend.”

“Great food but employees need training in customer service! We arrived on a Sunday night and an older lady was sweeping. I asked her if they were closing and she looked at the clock and said “Yes—-in 40 minutes”! It was 8:10 p.m. and they closed at 9:00!! How about saying “No, we don’t close until 9:00”. Obviously she is hourly and doesn’t care if the restaurant makes more money. She had already turned all of the trash cans except one upside down. She had the place ready to lock up. A family was there eating and about 5-6 more people came in while we were there. The guy and gal working the front area were nice enough but not very enthusiastic about being there. Sad, because the food was SO good! I got the regular sized burrito and it was huge! Meat was fresh and tasty and so were the toppings. My son’s big burrito was huge! The salsa and chips were also great! Loved the food but the service leaves much to be desired. Ownership needs to know that this makes people not want to come back especially in the South!”

“A very good spot for a good meal! The environment is most certainly Texas and the hospitality is as grand! I suggest the hamburgers and not so much ordering the side salad though. Enjoy!”
