“A fun sports bar kinda place. Excellent spot to just wind down the day or hang out with friends. All food items have a political spin so pick your candidate - the Bill Clinton or Henry Cisneros Hot Dog plus many more to choose from. Excellent sandwiches too. Great menu items, plenty of bar choices, and reasonable prices. Plus, I've heard they give discounts to First Responders.”

“Frank's Country Store is an Awesome place!!! It's has a small grocery area as well as a great restaurant. Great country atmosphere and great people. If you want that down home country feeling next time you go for some barbecue, then Frank's Country store is the place to go. Awesome food, friendly staff and exceptional service.”

“Atmosphere: The atmosphere stays true to the country bar scene with all the wood furnishings, neon lights and decor. The graffiti style artwork on the back wall is unique and combines both urban and passion for the local university. Don't forget to stare up above at the ceiling to see the giant guitar. There is a vast amount of seating with the booths on the back side and tables on the side. Overhearing that the booths are reserved for VIPs during concert venues, seems awkward per the distance they are from the stage. Sitting on the side was a great view of the whole venue and concert, as well as easy access to the dance floor. Service: Granted they have only been open for a short time, it resonates as to why some of the waitresses were unaware of certain prices on drinks and getting our food/drinks at an appropriate timeframe. I feel over time it will get better as they get accustomed to the crowd and familiarize with the menu. Quality: In terms of a country bar I thought they did great, the stage is a decent size and definitely allows for interaction with the crowd due to how close one can get. The dance floor is a good size for where it's at, but compared to other country bars in the area, it falls short. The food was really good and you get your money's worth, the only thing that was interesting was the small concert menu and little to no adjustments to the food. Some recommendations would be not to host too many concerts so that it gives the community more opportunities to try out the dance floor because there were a great amount of old/new country as well as Texas country music prior to the concert. As mentioned before, once waitresses/servers get familiar with menu, it will be a hit. Had a great time with the crowd we showed up and hope it improves on an already great experience, so we can make our way back soon.”

“Ordered combo fajitas for 2 and it was amazing. The beef was super tender and juicy and flavorful. The chicken was super tender, juicy, and flavorful also. We also ordered the roadkill with beef instead of chicken and it was amazing. Also Phillip did a wonderful job serving us. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place.”

“Best BBQ around. I've been to the one in Austin and Llano, now this one in College Station. I feel like most BBQ places get the meat right or the sides right - Cooper's has both. I love the turkey, great cole slaw, mac and cheese is amazing, beans/pickles/onions all come with the meal. They offer bread, but seriously, who wants to fill up on that? Gimme the good stuff.”

“This place is bomb, my first time trying them was yesterday and apparently they sent the wrong flavor but I honestly had no idea lol. And I ordered again today and they also sent the flavor I was supposed to receive the day before for free. Great smoothies/juices and awesome customer service.”

“The decor and atmosphere is cute and simple. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got the biscuits and gravy and loved every bite! I had to restrain myself from licking the plate clean, it was that good. I also got the vanishing blueberry and raspberry sugar cream pie, which was delicious and warm! Overall I would rate my experience 5 stars! I will definitely be coming back and referring this lively little pie place to family and friends.”

“I really enjoyed my visit on the opening day. I love the layout, even with the new restricted seating, I got greeted by an employee who explains where we need to line up and the ordering process was great. I ordered 4 burritos, ordered the key lime pie & Flan. I also really enjoyed the lemonada I will definitely come back, glad there is a new Fresh Mexican restaurant in South College Station.”

“Wife & I attended a recent candidate forum at Smitty K's. We arrived early & selected the pulled-pork BBQ sandwich with Tea from the event menu. We both agree that was the best pulled-pork BBQ we have had anywhere! Our introduction to pulled-pork BBQ was a decade or so ago during an East Coast vacation. Where ever it was, they claimed that the area was where PP BBQ was developed years ago. Our reaction: why bother? Smitty K's has clearly taken a Texas version of Pulled-Pork BBQ to a new level of excellence! Wait staff was great considering the SRO crowd. Smitty K owners should be commended for hosting events like this candidate forum.”

“I had an amazing experience with my server Tracy! She was absolutely awesome! Great service and food! We need more servers that don’t only invest in the business but the customers as well. I was very impressed on how quick she was to jump if we needed something. I will definitely be coming back.”

“My experience here is usually a pleasant one. If I'm in the mood for some quick wings, I'll go here. The service is decent, and the wait is generally what is estimated on the app. The quality of the wings is good for what you pay for. In my opinion, I've had wings here that have came out better than BDUBs wings for half the cost. Overall, I'd recommend this place to a friend in the mood for decently priced wings.”

“We go to Chef Cao at least one a month. From where we live, between Magnolia and Plantersville, it's a bit over 40 miles. That's how good the food is. Noting the primarily asian customers, I would say the food is likely fairly authentic. We just think that it's very good. Nice restaurant, apparently does a large takeout business also.”

“I go to The Canteen regularly. They have a casual decor and inventive menu. I like the quiet comfortable atmosphere and the outdoor patio is very attractive. Unlike too many College Station restaurants, you can actually go outside and not see or hear cars, what a pleasure. They do change the menu around. The first time I went I had a fascinating bone marrow on toast, which was really tasty. Lately I've been eating gnocchi with mushrooms. They usually have a decent IPA on draft, though the selection is not large.”

“Was invited here for business lunch and liked it so much that came back next day. Normally, I am not a big fan of tacos, but the creativity and selection are very impressive. I tried several different tacos and each had a unique taste and even texture. Interesting combination of flavors and just enough kick to make them addictive.. Definitely will be back next time I am in the area. BTW, the service was also very good, friendly and efficient.”

“Thanks to Mickey’s cute personality, our visit to Sonic was superb! Our order came out fast, Mickey made sure our order was as we ordered. She provided all condiments, straws and napkins. Mickey also helped us briefly, being tourists what to see in town. I will have to return soon, I highly recommend this Sonic for fast service and good food”

“Good food and drink in an Irish environment with plenty of TVs. I enjoyed my shepherd's pie and my spouse enjoyed her jalapeno grilled cheese with our black and tan beers. The prices are a little high, so try to make it in by happy hour by 6pm. Also don't be like us and pay for parking because they will validate your for the parking garage if you eat there.”
