“Not bad for being on the Mexican Border. The Chinese Communist Party plexiglass and masks still seem to be the fad. The staff were attentive and friendly. The eggrolls were not the best. Basically your standard frozen ones you can get in any freezer section at any store. The BBQ ribs were really good though. This restaurant is all in all pretty good.. The selection is not bad, the flavors are outa the ordinary for the Valley! Bottom line, it's a good spot for Chinese food in Brownsville.”

“This place was the cheapest in Broken Sproket and the best tasting imo!!! They post the prices and pictures of the food so it's easy to decide! The smash burger included a beef patty, brisket, and bacon!!! The brisket tacos were immaculate and the peach lemonade was soooo amazing I asked for seconds. Give the sweet bbq and spicy bbq a try too! And the fries were seasoned beautifullyyyy!”

“Never had a shrimp cocktail as fantastic as this one. There must have been 30 shrimp in the grande size, for only $11.50! Also got the equally-great ceviche (also $11.50 for grande) and fish tacos ($10 for 4). Food is quite good, the meat has good flavors, relation prices quality is acceptable. Shrimp were a little bit short but good. Not too many options in Brownsville but this place is over the top. We didn’t dare to try the desserts as the menu has the calories next to the price… is better ask for desserts without seeing at the menu!! We will return for sure…”

Although the place is small, this restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves 5+ stars! My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner for under forty dollars, including appetizer and drink. I highly recommend this restaurant, hats off the cooks, the chiriqueso is to die for, especially when eaten with the warm and soft corn tortillas. The tostada is big enough for 2 people and the complimentary chips and salsa just rounds up the meal very nicely.”
