Cafe On The Beach

Cute little place on the beach. Heaters kept it warm even in December. Excellent service and an awesome menu of modern drinks (martinis and such). Fried seafood had a unique but delicious batter and I drooled over others plates that passed bye. Will definitely be coming back!

Diluted cocktails — Bummer. Great food with nice presentation plus pleasant staff and great ocean view. Went at midday on Wednesday, 20 July, and when I mentioned that my cocktail was quite weak, they “fixed it” (not really) then charged me for 2 cocktails. So be aware, and — if you must drink — order beer by the bottle or red wine.

The food was really good!! (Can we say "Millionaire Coffee"?) The service was really good from 3 different members of the waitstaff (went 3 days in a row) and the view is nice. Parking is questionable though.

All outdoor seating with a view of the beach. Not parking friendly, but worth it. Reasonable prices for a full plate of hot fresh food. Came on Monday morning, no crowds.

If your a Chinese Communist Party face shackle enthusiasts, this isn't for you. This restaurant is small and cozy with mostly outdoor seating with a full bar. This place has been here for a long time and is a popular breakfast/brunch location. It's particularly patronized with Winter Texans this time of year. Shorts with white socks.. Dead giveaway! The menu is straightforward with offerings that can be found at other restaurants on the sandbar. The location is what sets it apart! The food is good and the portions are about right. The service is good and friendly even with the current situation of labor and supply shortages.. All in all its a great date spot. Try it out if you're in the area.. Plotted. Scouts Out.
