We sat at the front but they had more sitting options and spots. I knew I wanted a good view for those sunset pics, right up front.
The live music started and delighted us for the two hour ride. Then came the food, shrimp appetizers, chicken and fajita tacos and fish. Oh my. Fruit dessert and all the cold drinks you could have. BYOB if you want. The staff was super friendly and courteous. We loved it and can't wait to do it again.

My husband and I went on the afternoon snorkeling cruise May 22, 2022. My first time snorkeling. It was such a nice cruise. A bit of an overcast day and some changes in the current prevented us from anchoring down at their usual spot. Issues that were not controllable but they were so professional while figuring everything out. The extra time it took to make adjustments was added to our cruise. The crew was amazing and there were delicious grilled burgers with all the fixings served. Fresh fruit for desert and unlimited drinks. The water was about 5' deep and there were several fish to see. Relaxing atmosphere with music (requests were taken at one point) and blankets offered when things got super windy and a bit cool on the way back. Such an enjoyable excursion. We will definitely do a cruise every time we come down. I would suggest making sure to bring some cash for tipping as you exit the boat. Although not required or expected in any way, you will be treated so considerately and professionally that you will want to tip this attentive and hard working crew.

fun cruise. beautiful sunset! delicious food! first we got 4 super yummy grilled shrimp. they were SO good that one of my kids who had never tasted seafood and said they wont eat it, loved them! then we had chicken and beef fajitas with grilled onionand peppers, jalapeno, tortillas, cheese, sourcream, salsa. thet were served as a build your own buffet style. then grlled fish as another course and then fruit for dessert. sunset was so gorgeous and fireworks which are seasonal were so cool right out close on the water. wonderful time overall. bring a nice big tip for the singer jar and the crew jar!

My fiance and I had a really great night. The dinner cruise was the perfect cap to our week in SPI. The cruise was "smooth as glass", the appetizers were tasty, the service was great, and it was a chill atmosphere w/music. Let's not forget BYOB!

I chose to celebrate my 60th birthday by taking a sunset cruise with Southern Wave Sailing Charters. The entire crew treated me like a VIP! The guitarist sang a special song for me so of course I danced. Any time one of the amazing food courses was ready, my fellow passengers called on me to serve myself first. All the food was fantastic, especially the grilled shrimp and the grilled fish with fresh peppers! I brought some cupcakes to share with everyone and the server kindly went around the boat and passed them out. We had beautiful weather, a stunningly gorgeous sunset, and friendly smiles and conversation all around. This was the absolute highlight of our entire trip and I highly recommend the Southern Wave sunset catamaran cruise!
