“First timer in this restaurant and the food was amazing. Got stuffed seafood jalapenos, shrimp green enchiladas and stuffed seafood peppers. Chips and salsa and they bring the seafood broth and a salad with the meal. Slot of food but so worth the price.”

“I hadn’t been here in a GOOD while, but we decided to come by and boy did we make the right choice. We walked in and were seated immediately which was nice. There wasnt very many people, so there was no wait. Although we lost our waitress, we still had some pretty good service! The food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend it for a date night or a special occasion :)”

“Great place with lively music. Excellent customer service. The food is delicious. Does not matter what you order will not be disappointed. A must visit if your in Brownsville. Luckily they also have locations in South Padre Island, San Benito and in the future Pharr, Texas. The managers of this place are on top of everything. The employees greet you with a smile and seem genuinely happy to be at work.”

“Food was good. Nice selection of sauces. The goyza was fine. Probably from frozen but not bad for the price. I also got the sashimi chef special. It was fresh and the cucumber salad was a nice touch. I wish the chef special/ choice would have a better variety. Only tuna and white fish. The atmosphere was loud (music) so just beware if you are looking for a quiet place.”

“The food tasted good. The only draw back is it took 30 minutes to get a milk shake i asked for. Maybe next time it will improve.”

“Nostalgic atmosphere that replicas eateries of the 50's. Good food and friendly staff. Parking is limited due to the multitude of businesses in the business complex.”

“A hidden gem located at the Greyhound Plaza in Brownsville. Some of the most delicious tacos I've had with the most authentic Mexican Flavors. This is a must try when visiting. I had 3 tacos (chicharron, nopal, and deshebrada) and a mini torta.”

“If you don't have the app, get it! The rewards are awesome! The chicken is always great. Always crispy & never oily. The fries are good too. The chicken sandwich is one of the best. Recently tried the nuggets, I liked them. Overall the quality of food is excellent. The staff are very friendly.”

“I had a taco de Trompo and a coffee. Its a big 10 inch taco for $7. With cilantro, onions, avocado and white Mexican goat cheese. The only issue, and it may be due to preference but the flower tortilla was kind of bland, hardly any flavor and the texture was not what im used to from other flower tortillas. The coffee was aright but needs to be stronger for me, again probably due to preference. Good atmosphere, Good service. I will come back and try other menu items in the future.”

“Update: I have to edit my review. I told my kids about this place being better than Panda Express and that they serve Lo Mein not Chow Mein like P.E. We all placed our orders at L.C. and instead of serving us Lo Mein they gave us Chow Mein! This was a to-go order; so we didn't find it until we were home. I don't understand why they would do that. Very disappointed! Past Review: The website had the option to order curbside pickup but that is actually not available; we do have to get down for our order. (I'm glad i didn't go in my nightgown lol) The lady giving me the order was very nice and respectful. I ordered the Broccoli Beef and my son had the Orange Chicken plate. It came with rice and we also ordered lo mein separately. I expected the rice to be jasmine rice but it was actually regular white rice. It all came out to approx $40; a bit pricey but the food was tasty and delicious. They provided utensils and condiments. We were only able to eat half the food because it was filling which we were able to eat the other half today. Compared to another Asian restaurant in Brownsville I've gone to, this one would be my go-to since it has great flavor and thankfully it's closer to me. Keep up the great work! ;)”

“This meal was very nice! Very authentic flavor and very authentic prep. I ate everything! You can call ahead even of you're dining in so they can have the fiod ready when you arrive!!! The drinks are served in small pitchers which is cute but filing! My girl and I had a nice date experience here. The menu has pictures so you have a good idea of what you're getting. There was even complimentary dessert! Will definitely be returning to try the carne guisado plate!”

“They have excellent dine in specials, on a daily basis (taco Tuesdays, wing Wednesdays, ceviche Fridays, etc.)! Not to mention they have a nice spread of ice cold craft beers on tap. I've never stuck around for the night life but earlier in the day it serves as a comfortable lounge spot, with a pool table, board games, Sports playing on the TV's and good food!”

“The staff is amazing!!!! They made my dad's 84th birthday so special and treated him like a king. The food is so good. The flautas were great and the Mollejitas were absolutely terrific. The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic.”

“I ordered on their BK APP and got an offer for a Double Whopper meal. The order was filled quickly and respectfully. The food was warm and tasty. The restaurant was really clean; didn't use the RR, instead I used their sanitizing gel. Plenty available. Their soda station was down but a Crowner staff quickly refilled my drink when asked. I'm impressed how updated this BK is as far as decor. Tables & chairs are lite but strong, benches were wide and comfortable, and the TV actually has movies playing. Additionally, the staff provided additional coupons for new breakfast items: Cheesy Breakfast Melts. I must try their new breakfast!”

“If tried this place twice had gone three times but they had ran out of shrimp cocktail. Both the times I did get there before they ran out was amazingly good. Everytime we’re in Brownsville we stop there. Keep up the good job!”

“Fountain drinks were unattended, Pepsi was more water than Pepsi, the orchata and melon aguas frescas had a weird taste, some other sodas were not available, so we were limited to certain drinks only, oh and when we asked for one of the beers, the guy taking our order told us he couldn’t sell it to us because they were expired…. So we were like, why are they visible to the public then, this same person taking our order was really nice and he actually helped us as much as he could, I could understand that he was trying but it’s not a 1 man job, props to him. Food was ok nothing extraordinary, this is the first time we tried wing barn it will definitely be just for an occasional thing to do. The best thing we had and enjoyed was the fried pickles, really crunchy and flavorful.”

“Very good customer service. The fideo was very tasty. I asked for the No. 1 combo which has 2 gorditas w a guiso and 1 gordita w bean and white cheese. The beans were a little too runny but overall the food was very tasty no salt needed. Salsas were very good too. They had good music on to enjoy my meal. I will be coming back 😀”

“The food was better than great. The taco gigante that our server humbly said wasn't too big was in fact gigantic. Could barely finish it and I am a pretty good eater. Josefina our server was very helpful and nice. will definitely be coming back.”

“Menu is limited so be warned. The red tacos were good and better than the tamales. The charro beans were good as well. As for drinks they only have water and canned or bottle cokes from Mexico. Since they don't have iced tea I'm not planning to go back anytime soon.”
