“If you're in the Allen area this is an absolutely fantastic family friendly restaurant to eat some incredibly tasty healthy food and enjoy craft coffees and teas in a relaxed environment. I have stopped in there at least once a week since they opened about a year ago. The entire family really puts their heart and soul into making this place feel like you're at home hanging out with friends and they are always doing the littlest of things to make things just right. Additionally, if you're in the neighborhood on Thursdays and Saturday evenings they have soulful live music from different local artists (including members of their own family) which is just the icing on the cake. If you have kids, they have have some amazing hot chocolate and desserts there that my 2 sons have raved about. A huge 2 thumbs up way high for this wonderful local family restaurant called Salt Light Station.”

“I’m not a huge fan of take out Chinese food, really not a fan of Chinese food in general, and I know there are a lot of fast food Chinese restaurants that are named Skillman wok. My daughter takes classes near this restaurant and we decided one night instead of cooking at home we might order from here, I will say the portions were huge. The chicken fried rice was excellent and I ordered a beef dish with vegetables in a garlic sauce, I have to say the beef was tender and of great quality, the sauce was spicy and tasted great. We will eat here again as we really liked what we got, we recommend you give them a try.”
