This was my first visit to their new location in Frisco. City Line was my go-to for years now, but I wanted to switch it up. Perfect spot for business, and in front of Ford Center. The staff was very friendly and even the manager came over and spoke to me. I made it just in time for happy hour. The frozen margaritas are so good. I had the fish and shrimp platter. The mac n cheese is a must try! I’ll be back soon.
Our server was great and managers came around and checked on us which was nice. However, it took a REALLY long time (15-20 minutes) for our bar drinks to come out, and the restaurant was not crowded at that point. My son had the kid's chicken tenders and says the tenders were a 4/5 and the mac and cheese side was a 5/5. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, I would give it a 3.5/5. My husband had the Fried Shrimp and Catfish Platter and gives it a 3/5. The other family with us had the Bacon-wrapped Shrimp, rated it 5/5 and the Parmesan Grits with grilled shrimp a 4/5.
First off, excellent customer service. Place had a good vibe and everyone was very friendly.
The stand out though was the food. A great variety of flavors and unique dishes, this isn’t a plastic basket and checkerboard paper kind of place. (Nothing wrong with that…) This restaurant even has real grills flaring up as they flame kiss the entrees.
The presentation was great, the flavors were even better, and don’t skip the desert, wow…
My pics won’t do it justice. Give them a try for yourselves. They’ve only been open two weeks, but they are already polished.
Just want to start out by saying thank you. My wife and I enjoy going on sporadic dates, and going to newly opened businesses, hole in the wall restaurants, and different landmarks on our free time. Mid budget restaurant, perfect if you want to walk around Star Blvd after a few drinks and a well cooked meal. This was time well spent. Nervous at first, now lifelong customers. Y’all have something good going. Keep up the authentic customer service. Props to the owner being very hands on.
