Brunswick Stew was good. Not uniquely fabulous. Spicy. Beer was cold. Service friendly

Food portions are generous. Meats, sauces and sides are tasty, whichever you pick. Soft drinks are served in small pitchers rather than glasses.

The brownie desert, while tasty was disappointing. Part of the brownie in the desert was so hard you had to use a knife to chisel through it. Don't know if over baked or heated in skillet to warm. Either way, disappointing. Service was also a bit pokey and disorganized. Refills of drinks was slow and there was no one up front when you enter. Perhaps an off day on some items so a 4 star review. Definitely worth your try for barbecue. Be prepared, like most other barbecue places, prices are not inexpensive.

Excellent example of delicious 'blues food'. The menu is filled with good ole comfort food, and I've never been disappointed. The environment is great with blues related posters, signs, and instruments.

If you're looking for simple and fun outing, alone or with friends, you'll do well by choosing this place.

Food was delicious! Pulled chicken was a nice lighter option, and with the barbecue sauce on it, I didn't feel I deprived. I decided to throw caution to the wind and have the potato salad, and I was not disappointed! It was served warm, which I didn't expect, and it was delicious. Charlie was our server, and he did a great job. The only thing that I found lacking was the ladies room. The floor is nasty!
