“Simple but delicious. This is a great spot for a home cooked breakfast when you don’t want to do the cooking. We tried it for the first time today and loved the experience. The waiter was so personable and friendly, he answered our questions (I’m gluten free) and was able to help me make the best substitutions. The owner himself was also there walking around and greeting guests. He made us feel welcomed and cared for, he was also celebrating his birthday while working. The food was delicious, simple ingredients but definitely gave the nostalgia of having brunch with the family. I had the classic eggs Benedict, and the eggs were cooked to perfection and my boyfriend has the chicken fried steak with a side of pancakes. We will be going back to try new dishes for sure.”

“I had lunch there today and it was so tasty! The crab tasted like real crab(imagine that!). I had the #3 which also included corn, sausage , potatoes, egg and the best original flavor sauce. On that embarrassing note, I love this Jersey Mike’s they have the best curated sandwiches, an AMAZINGLY friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. The food so fresh, fast, and the place is spotless. You cannot go wrong with these subs! I love a portobello mushroom sub and I am even thinking about getting it with roast beef. (Look at me getting fancy.) Pro tip: add a triple chocolate chip cookie. “Urban Seafood can be great depending on your expectations. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The food is fair at best. It appears people who come here and get a special table side fishes dish really enjoy the food. Our oysters took 25 minutes to come out and even with that the oysters were not fully shucked but still partially stuck to the shell... For $2 almost $4 each. The gumbo was under seasoned, we asked for some Cajun salt or old bay to go with it and our server said they don't have any in the kitchen? My wife's card dip was very runny. The star ⭐ of the restaurant in my opinion was their cheeseburger. If we ever return to Urban Seafood. It will be for a cheeseburger.”

“My brother told me about Twisted Root burger. My nephew and I went to Twisted Root Burger in Plano, Texas on 14th street for the 1st time last week. My brother eats there all the time at different locations. So, my nephew and I arrived and ordered a takeout order. Vegan burger and fries for my brother, classic burger for my nephew and a pilgrim burger with fries for me. I only live 5 minutes away and the food was hot and Awesome tasting! We enjoyed the meal and my nephew talked about trying pizza next time we visit. I decided to treat myself on 8/20/2022 and go get me a take out lunch meal. I ordered a pilgrim burger and onion rings and a kale salad for another meal. I asked if there was a Rewards program and the cashier asked Margo, the manager. Margo ( I asked her name because I like to know who I am speaking to) said they are working on it. She gave me a $5 gift card to use on my next purchase/visit. I thanked her for the card which was kind of her. I told Margo I was here last week and we enjoyed the food. She was happy about this. While I waited on my meal to be prepared I sent a text/photo to my siblings of my order and the $5 gift card. My brother who was out of town gave my post a thumbs up. When the buzzer went off I happily picked up my bag and went home to enjoy my meal for now and kale salad for later. The pilgrim burger looked good BUT the bottom bun was hard. I do not know if it was stale and cooked/toasted. The top bun was soft and good. The onion rings were too salty. What happened this time? I do not eat out much but I thought I had found a new spot to get my meals. I did not enjoy/ eat that bottom bun. I know things happen. I will give the $5 card to my brother to use. They charged me less than excepted, and then I had to went back again to check the bill as I felt they charged me less than it should, which then they correct it and I paid the additional money which they didn’t know. “This place was great from customer service to the food. Like any great restaurant they will run out due to high demand not lack of supply. I’ve been on multiple occasions as the collard green egg rolls are my new favorite food. I’ve brought a couple different groups and each one was always please the owner is so sweet and personable made me feel at home. I appreciate it and highly recommend it. One night we went a little before closing and it was people complaining about missing menu items but what can you expect from a restaurant with good food at the last hour of the night, first come first served.
