“This was a pretty fun visit for us coming from Minnesota we stopped in because they were the only ones open to be honest. Boy are we happy we did. The smell of citrus hit us as soon as we walked it, found out they had just finished squeezed grapefruit for a fresh batch of beer. We each tried a couple of their beers which were very good, chatted with the owner who we found out was friend w/ a local pastor in our small town so that was fun and we got to try a sample of their new wheat beer fresh out of the tank. (Honestly one of the best beers I have tried in a very long time) the property is large and expansive outside with rocking chairs on the front patio. Please give this one a try well worth the little out of the way drive!”

Maria the manager has always been especially kind and accommodating and the rest of the staff is awesome too. You can't get as large of a coffee where the coffee actually tastes good-anywhere else so that is what got me hooked. I like that they are branching into dairy free and vegetarian options too.”

“I didn’t realize this bakery was gluten free until I arrived. I’d tried very few gluten free sweets prior to this, and I was never very impressed with the times I had. This bakeries pastries and blueberry breakfast scone I tried where better than any bakery’s that I’d been to in recent memory. At this point I’m not going to switch to a gluten free diet, but I can say I became a believer and loyal customer to The Red Oak Bakery as soon as I consumed the first bite.”

“Uwe's is always on our list of places to go on the weekend. The staff is very friendly and the baked goods are fantastic. We are a family with food allergies and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we were ordering items that were safe and delicious. I almost always get "The German". It's served on a platter with your choice of roll, meat and cheese and is simply amazing with plenty of possible combinations to satisfy.”
