“The food has gradually gotten worse as it has been open longer. Burgers are often burnt or old/dry, and my honey butter chicken biscuit in the morning is always dry. Now I avoid it and drive to the Evans location, as it is (or was 7 years ago) a training store. I managed a WB for 4 years and a Sonic for 7, and I see a store that needs to better balance speed of service with freshness and correct cook times. The staff is always friendly, but rushed. It is difficult to find local employees, so I assume that is part of the problem.”

“My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and unfortunately it didn’t live up to the reviews. The beer selection is very poor (only 2 beers), the calamari was served without marinara sauce because they ran out, the shrimp bisque was barely warm and definitely not worth the $8 for a small cup. The fried shrimp were actually pretty small but they were butterflied to make them look bigger. They tasted good, but small portion for the price, and the red beans and rice that was served on the side wassweet, which is not the flavor we like when it comes to red beans and rice. The grilled chicken pasta was really good! All that being said, I wish I would have chosen another place for such a special occasion!”

“My wife and I come every Friday to enjoy the Steak Po' boy and the Cowboy Grilled Cheese, but Ronda and her crew stepped up their game even more by catering our corporate event. My employees and I were thoroughly impressed with the Gumbo, jambalaya and macaroni and cheese that they prepared for us! Seriously, their Cajun food was better than anything I had ever come across, even while living in Louisiana! We highly recommend Texas Po' Boys for any event, large or small!
