“Under new ownership, and the customer service was great. Had the pork belly tacos which were delicious! Highly recommended. Along with the jalapeno creamy corn, which was very fresh and flavorful. Others had the ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sausage. The table was very quiet, so I know the food was good. I didn't care for the sweet BBQ sauce or the fine grind of the sausage, but that is being majorly picky. And those pork belly tacos are the tacos of my dreams. Go and enjoy. Beer is coming soon, and would complement the spices very well.”

“This place was worth the wait time. The ambiance was so rustic country like... everything was great right from the staff to the food. The portions were Texas size and really delicious. We loved the visit and will surely stop by the next time we visit San Antonio. I totally get it why this places stays to busy all the time!!!”

“Love this place. Never had a meal that I could not eat before it ate me. Gets a little noisy at times. Always have fun, meeting someone you may know some you have never met. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. Want something that is not on the menu , grilled fish instead of fried just ask. Great crew and management.”

“Wow what a great surprise. After first visit, back at least once a week. Catfish Po Boy was huge, perfect, awesome. Enough for 2 people with the generous serving of fries on the side. Next visit the best BLT ever. Next visit potato soup so good you wanna smack yo Mama. Go go go you won't be disappointed.”

“This place is a diamond in the rough. There are many choices for taco fillings but my favorite are beef fajita and diabla(red spicy pork). The staff are friendly and helpful. If you come here to get a bean and cheese taco, just go to taco bell instead of leaving a bad review. Although their bean and cheese tacos are good too. For a road side taco place they do quite well.”
