“Believing it was a new location of the Italian Garden at Canyon Lake, I stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday. This Italian Garden has no connection to any other Italian Restaurant in the area. The owners used to own a place in Lake Jackson, but nothing here. Once my food came, I knew it was not affiliated with other places in the area. It was outstanding and freshly made. Everything brought to the table was fresh and cooked to order. The owner could not have been more interesting and nice. And the cost was very reasonable. I am not a foodie, but have been to Italy 2 or 3 dozen times. This is the food I expect when I am there. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I am not clear on their hours so I was unable to add those. But you will not be disappointed if you give them a try!”

“10/10 recommend!!! Got the birria with steak instead of pork and it was wonderful. SUPER full tortillas, crispy outside, juicy, all the things. And the shrimp tacos… OMG. I’ve had shrimp tacos from coast to coast and these are easily up there in the top. And with the same crispy flavorful tortilla as the birria tacos. Large portions too so good value for the price.”

“It would be hard not to give this place 5 stars. I got a PB&J bun. I spent about $16, which I thought was a little high, but after trying it, I think he nailed the price point. It's so good! This is a food truck with a shaded outdoor seating area. The only thing I wish they had was an outlet so I could plug in my laptop and do some work. Other than that, it's a very nice venue.”

“Like an oasis in the middle of the desert this nice restaurant was built “high level” looking at the near future hungry crowds. The variety of dishes and drinks are overwhelming. In a conversation with Alicia (ownership) implied this facility was made based in all the years of experience: to eat, drink, relax and feel the “welcome” in every corner the place. Awesome!!”

“We had breakfast at the new Darlene's Breakfast Cafe this morning. My husband had the waffle plate. It came with a waffle, eggs and bacon. The waffle was delicious and the scrambled eggs were light and fluffy (I forgot to take a picture of them.) I had the strawberry shortcake pancakes... Divine! Fresh hot coffee with a few different creamer options. I love it when restaurants have flavored creamer! It's a nice added touch. The grounds around the restaurant are beautiful. It's nestled in an oak grove. This may turn into our new favorite breakfast place. They serve lunch as well, so we will try that another time. Thanks for the great service and delicious food!”

“What a great experience my family had at Bella Sera! Our young waitress greeted us immediately with a smile and was very helpful in giving information about the various dishes.
