Lil-Tex Restaurant

The restaurant staff is really nice and comes around often to check on you. The catfish and coleslaw was extremely good. Some of the other food we had was ok. I will probably come again since I enjoyed the fish and the service.

All-in-all a nice little restaurant. I haven't gone enough to get to know all the waitresses/waiters so I'll give a 4 star until I get to know the staff better. The food was fine and always consistently good. I'd recommend Lil-Tex Restaurant.

Family owned restaurant possibly once part of the Hallmark and Henderson group of restaurants or at least the tables were made by the same company. I ordered an item not realizing only the salad would not be fried. Although the food was good I should have gone slower or not eaten tater tots with fried chicken. Need to eat more vegetables even to the point of no meats or fried foods. And after eating I noticed there is a vegetarian plate or salad. They even have a sheet of specials not on the regular menu.

Nice folks, easy on the wallet. Cooking that will stick your ribs. You probably would not leave hungry after enjoying any breakfast entree. I gave four out of five stars because the handicap parking is tight, and occasionally the service is slow. This is a a good dining option if you are in the area. Definitely popular with the locals.

My mom took my kiddo, my SO and myself here. It was so good I willingly paid for all of us. The price for the quantity and quality was SUPERB. Everything we all ordered was fantastic. My mom got the fried the catfish. My kiddo got the club sandwich. My SO got the steak, medium rare, and eggs. I got the steak, medium, with shrimp. Wow! The steaks were perfect, exactly as we asked for them. The fried catfish was superb! The collard greens were so tasty and yummy. And the potato soup...... I can easily order a big bowl of this soup and be content. No lie. The shrimp were big and buttery and cooked perfectly. We will DEFINITELY go back and we live in Lampasas.
