I’d been wanting to try this place out for awhile so I went with a friend on my birthday. The atmosphere makes it a great brunch spot especially the patio area. I always like to ask the server what they recommend and order it. I was impressed with the smoothie bowl because it was light enough yet still filling, also freezes nicely for leftovers. The service was a little slow but it could be just because he thought we didn’t want to be bothered but his attitude was upbeat the entire time.
This place technically deserves five stars but I chose to give only three. Everything was wonderful, including the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. However, the birthday experience was slightly ruined, due to the fact that we were given a table that was very uncomfortable right in front of the entrance to the restaurant. We had a reservation. We showed up a few minutes before our reservation time. When we politely asked for a different table, we were told that all of the tables were reserved. We stayed at our assigned table and made the best of it. The entire time we were there, no new customers came into the restaurant. The place was 3/4 empty. So the moral of the story is that one bad apple can spoil the bushel.
Love love love the drama of this breezy, comfortable, romantic setting. My favorite dish are the mussels, it’s a pile of them with crunchy bread and a sinful broth. Literally a work of art. My steak was surprisingly plain I loaded with chimichurri but still had to ask for table salt. The dip appetizer we had was so delicious and my old fashioned was to my liking.
The ambience is great here. I recommend making reservations for brunch because they can get busy. They have an indoor, outside, and inside with open doors for outside. FYI: Dogs are allowed on the patio. The menu has a variety of foods, not a large selection for brunch, but you can mostly likely find something for your taste buds. The portion sizes are fair for the price as well. My party of 3 sat at the bar where we experienced great service. The drinks are good even the non alcoholic beverages are very refreshing. I'd stop here again for brunch.
I'm so glad I FINALLY got to come here and enjoy the experience that is Dahlia! First off, the restaurant itself is beautiful with a great trendy, classy but low-key vibe. We had great service all around from the hostess to the bartenders and servers. I tried 3 different cocktails, and they were all on point!! I've never had a Corn Beef Hash with Verde sauce but it did not disappoint... I will definitely but visiting again soon!
