Deep Sushi

Probably the best sushi we’ve had in Dallas since we moved here. Ok fine, it’s the only sushi we’ve had, but my heart and stomach have truly found joy and fulfillment here. Literally every roll on the menu either tastes delightful or sounds like an absolute delight.

Overall it was alright. The Deep Sushi Edamame has this weird burnt flavor to it but I guess that’s the style. The spicy tuna roll looks like cubed ingredients lazy laid on a slice of rice. I also ordered a snapper noodle soup that never came. The waiter eventually towards the end walks over and asks me if I got my soup. I mean obviously I didn’t if you don’t see it on my table. No I’m not gonna remind you either you wrote it down on my bill. It’s cool though he took it off my bill but it sounded like there is miscommunication/drama between the front of the house and the kitchen. Overheard some side comments between him and the manager but that’s none my business. At least I had my sushi fix and I woke up today. I know for next time if I dare to come back I should probably be drunk.

My first time eating here and I loved it!! This is a New York roll made with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado wrapped in crab meat. It was delicious! Great ambiance and friendly wait staff, we will definitely come back again!!

Love this place! 2 for 1 sushi on Tuesdays...can it get any better than that? The Salmon boat is a favorite for me. They will make any roll without rice if you like. I often get the Spicy Tuna tower and ask for seaweed instead of rice...so yummy!

Great location, it can get super busy and crowded pretty fast, but they have lots of seating space. My waiter was extremely helpful. I ordered the firecracker roll and it was amazing. I highly recommend trying that roll as it was highly recommended to me. The prices weren't too bad, at the time I believe the rolls cost between $10 and $14, and they are decent sized portions.
