Jalisco Norte

We had a party of 20+ for a brunch. The food as usual is always good. The menu changes with new skillets was a nice update. Service for a large party was good and getting the food out at the same time is a skill they master. My only challenge for them is getting more drinks out more quickly. I always feel like I could have consumed more cocktails. But hey that is not that bad of a thing. This is a consistently good place.

Last night was a wonderful experience. We arrived early and asked to be seated in the tree house area, which they were able to do without issue. Our server, Jorge, was everything one could hope for in a waiter. He was very friendly, extremely informative and had some wonderful suggestions. He told us all about the chef, his history and his inspirations.
The food was remarkable. Two of us had the special, a take on a Chile Rellano, which was so tasty, but the texture was amazing as well. One had the chicken mole, and wow, heaven on earth. The flavors were out of this world. The price was a bit high, but considering what was served, well worth it. I had some left over to take home, so dinner and a snack later? Perfect.

I will 100% eat here again.

Other much more comparable choices in the area for similar if not cheaper prices. Food quality was good but not "fine dining" good. Tacos were mediocre at best. Seems like a fun place to drink if you're into that sort of thing, I'm just not. Maybe I'll try it on Taco Tuesday and feel like I got my money's worth. To each his own, it was a good atmosphere definitely and good vibes.

Second visit since we were so impressed after our first visit, this time to celebrate my husband's birthday party, a large party of 16. Maria Luna, Special Events Manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with!! Our waiter Jesus, was outstanding, managing the large party efficiently & always with a smile, all the assistant staff were great too. The food is beyond excellent, & the "Treehouse Room" environment very special. So many restaurants in Dallas that are good, but Jalisco Norte & staff are exceptional...highly recommend!!!

Fantastic food. Absolutely fantastic service with our server Jose Luis. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Thank you for a wonderful dinner tonight and for my surprise belated birthday dessert :) we loved it and will certainly be back!
