Mayer's Garden

Randomly stopped in after a trip to Northpark and I’m glad we did. Honestly, I kind of had low expectations going in (I was expecting cheap bar food) but was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed the assortment of brunch items we ordered and the cocktails were very tasty. The Eloté Dip is a must-order. We’ll definitely be back for college football game days!

They knocked it out of the park at Mayer’s Garden. Best bar food in Dallas. The energy is amazing. Service is fast and exceptional. We’ve seen an owner here every time we have been. They’re hands on and you can tell they’re working their butts off to make this place a hit.

On the corner of Henderson & Belmont, where Jake's had once been. Great spot! Nicely decorated in and outside seating, and bar seating too. Lots of shareable starters, so we chose Hummus, Nuggies, and Deviled Eggs. The bacon jam topping on the Eggs is delightful! It can be added to Meyers burger, which we did. Along with shrimp cocktail, Carnitas taco, and Chicken Sandwich. Also opted for loaded fries. Great food. Wonderful location!

Visited on a Monday and found out that they have happy hour all day on Mondays. We fell in love with the elote dip but other appetizers were good such as the taquitos. That was during the day and not a lot of people were around and service was amazing. Visited again on a Saturday and night and definitely the place was busier, different vibe, but still the food was good. Cocktails that I like are planters punch and the espresso martini.

Amazing service! Sometimes henderson bars get over crowded and you have to wait for drinks, but this place takes care of you! We were greeted immediately by Austin who made sure we were taken care of all night! We highly recommend the chicken nuggets and the Prickly Pear shot. Our server Jacob was on top of it and was so attentive even after it got busy. Can’t wait to come back! (Also this is such a great place to day drink when patio weather is happenin’)
