Shell Shack

My husband and I recently moved to Dallas and have been finding new date night spots and this is in our top favorite places now. The atmosphere was super fun! The service was great. Definitely ask for Tatiana. She was really sweet and checked on us often. We got the date night in kitchen sink and it was so good. Good enough for us to probably come back once a week for our seafood kick! You guys have a really nice set up.

Not going to return. Yes, the manager's were amazing, but besides that, it was not a good experience. Everyone in the restaurant was hot and sweating... it was hot and humid inside, as if they didn't have their AC on. Food came out cold, at $180 for the platter... it needs to be hot, fresh, and flavorful.

Manager's were excellent and took good care of us for that problem. There's no excuse for cold crab that doesn't come out of the shell... if it was free... ok cool, but it was expensive.

Decent flavor overall. Nothing I crave enough to go back to.

I had to come back to leave an actual written review! The food at Shell Shack was everything I could have wanted and more! I had the catfish plate. The catfish was seasoned and fried to perfection. I'm not really sure how they season their fries but they were perfect! The service was excellent. I went at lunch time so I was anticipating a bit of a crowd, but there wasn't which honestly scared me! All of my expectations where exceeded and I can't wait until my next trip to Dallas!

Had crab here for the first time in my life and I must admit, I have been missing out y'all! Seasoning and spice levels are amazing. Price point isn't too bad either! Good service, they get pretty busy so you might want to call ahead for a group larger than two or four! Amazing food.
