“Love the first location and had to try the second. The food is always on point and service is friendly. Great portions for the price. If you don't see a spot to park in front of the restaurant then to the left there's a parking garage. We ordered: Pad Kee Mow with pork. Lots a flavor and my go to. Have had this dish at multiple restaurants but this one is the best, hands down. Broccoli Stir-fry with chicken had just the right amount of sauce. Yellow Curry with chicken smelled delish. A friend ordered that and it was all gone before I could ask for a bite. For dessert we had fried banana with ice cream. When having a sweet craving this is the best to get my fix. The ice cream doesn't melt quickly which is the best part so every bite you can get a little banana with ice cream.”

“It is an older small place. Don't expect it is a fancy looking restaurant. But their food is very good and reasonable priced. I ordered two bowls of noodles. Both noodles were using fresh hand made noodles which had to be made in the restaurant.”

“This restaurant is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very chummy and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I never decline to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.”

“I work across the street and visit this Salata at least once a week. They reopened a few weeks ago and I was so happy! The employees all wear gloves and masks so I feel safe ordering take out. Pro tip- write “please mix in dressing” in the comment section if you order online and they’ll toss the salad- otherwise dressing will be on the side! The employees are always friendly and helpful. A mainstay in particular has been Katherine- she gives better service than I’d expect at a 5-star restaurant and is always there to give suggestions and offer substitutions for any product they are sold out of (they make everything fresh so it’s not just a matter of opening a package to get more, which is a trade off I am certainly okay with to get better quality ingredients). They were out of honey mustard and she recommended a mix of the buttermilk ranch and Caesar... I’m in love! It’s so good and will be my new go to. Thanks Katherine and Salata! You’ve got yourself a lifetime customer here!”

“I tried this for the first time today via seamless. Food is fabulous and being from NYC made me feel like I’m back home. I had the chicken platter and Brooklyn burger. Everything was made correctly and flavors were great. I’ll be ordering from this restaurant at least twice a week if the quality of food is always this good.”

“It was really good to have food in this place. the environment remind me about the restaurants in middle east, it’s so lovely, everybody is friendly the quality of the food was really good, rich with the flavors made with a lot of love. They do also serve hookah every evening after 6pm in their patio in back which is really nice place to spend time in. Highly recommended for anytime.”

“Wanted to try a new local place and we weren't disappointed. Great cocktails, and wonderful chef inspired food. We loved the sandwiches and dirty tater tots. Waitress was attentive and one of the owners introduced herself. Support local businesses, we recommend this place. We'll he back.”

“May 28, 2020...thought i would check out the restaurant that opened on the southwest corner of Jupiter & Beltline by Jupiter Bingo in Richardson. Go here when you want excellent Soul Food!!! I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, & corn. My mother had the catfish & cabbage. Also ordered the banana pudding & sweet potato pie. Only veggie I would not reorder is corn. The corn is good, just not my favorite. I want to try some other veggies next time. Looking forward to going on a weekend to try the mustard greens, & collard greens. NOW the review....the food was better than excellent. Best banana pudding EVER! I have never been one to eat sweet potato pie, however it is so good that I plan on buying a whole pie next time to take to my elderly shut ins. THIS is how you know it is worth your trip or your dash trip. My mother, 90 years old, said this is the BEST home cooking she has had since she was a little girl, when her mother cooked for her!!!!! The owner is so welcoming & sweet that you should enjoy your visit. Don't forget to try the cornbread. FIRST review I have ever written too.”
