“After reading some of the reviews, I felt I needed to leave my take. First, the portion size is pretty generous. I order takeout, though and don't know if sizes or price are different for eat in. A "regular" of anything is enough for 2 sittings and I end up stuffed if I start off very hungry and chomp the whole plate down. As a result, I've never tried a "large". If you want something more spicy, let them know. They'll make stuff to how you want it, if you tell them when you order. I've never been treated disrespectful here. Although, I treat people with respect, especially if I know I'm ordering something not standard. Unlike a lot of mom and pop type restaurants, which can be hit or miss on quality and flavor, I've never gotten sick from eating here and the food is flavorful. I've been eating ordering here for several years.”

“New favorite local place for Mexican food. The nachos are amazing and drenched in toppings so you feel like you’re getting your moneys worth. Prices are decent too. The staff is friendly and has a “family business” atmosphere. My only complaint is that they overcharge die to-go chips and salsa when they’re free in house.”

“I ate at DQ when I was a kid and loved the belt buster. Most people come here for the ice cream I imagine but I wanted to taste the burger I had as a kid. It was no disappointment. “Michael was very nice in taking our order and checking up on us, even offering fresh coffee to go on a cold rainy night. The rack of ribs were tender, good flavor. Our guest had the Chicken Cheddar Bacon sandwich with fries, and rated it very good. My Famous Last Words: "I'll have something Different". Chicken Parmegiana with pasta. I got The Different - chicken roof tiles, or cement fried chicken...or The deep-fried breaded chicken breast were incredibly hard. When you take out of fryer or heater, you should coat in marinara sauce, let breading soak it up, then cover with cheese. Looks like they ran out of sauce, the pasta was dried out. Some really short person came by and tossed down a roll that was supposed to come with the meal, when it was served. Ran away before I could thank her. We had a great waiter, but the cook was not on his team. I got "different". ☆☆☆☆ for Michael.”

“This place... Beware though - the service is VERY slow. If you are in a hurry, take a rain check. We have devoured pizza, fish, my husband meatloaf, appetizers and the quality is consistent while needing a few additional seasonings. The vibe is great. If you want the bar like atmosphere it is separated from the restaurant. It opens in the warmer weather. Pet friendly and/or kid friendly. Outdoor play area for small kids. It is really, really loud on a busy night. There is no sound barrier and the noise reverberates everywhere. It is not intended for a romantic date night. Inside bar area for large kids.”

“It's Cane's. If you've never been, they serve chicken fingers. And that's it. And they are delicious. Always fresh and hot, with great chicken quality. I usually get a 3 strip or Box (4 strip) combo, both of which come with crinkle fries, 1 Cane's Sauce, and a slice of Texas Toast (the Box gives a side of coleslaw as well). Got a 3pc with tea today; great as usual.”

“I was headed to Jason's deli when I saw the Sabaidee sign. I love Thai food so I was intrigued. I ordered the Pad Thai with the combination meat. I am a spicy food fanatic, so on a scale 1 to 5, I chose 4; however I should have went for five. The spice had a great taste to it, but not a lot of heat. that is the only slightly negative thing you will hear me say about this place. The food was phenomenal. I enjoyed every single bite. I also tried the vegetable egg rolls, they were perfect. Light and crispy with just the right amount of crunch. I'm excited to go back and try other things on the menu. I played it safe the first time, now it's time to get adventurous. This is a hidden jewel in Rowlett that I highly recommend you try.”
