“Our go-to Latin lunch spot. Great atmosphere, and the food is so delicious. The cachapa is the perfect marriage of sweet and savory, and I find myself ordering it more than anything else on the menu. But the other menu items are very good as well, including their variety of pastries for dessert. Sometimes the service can be quite slow, but more than anything I think it's because they're usually very busy at peak times. Nothing that keeps us from coming back all the time!”

“Love the atmosphere here. I’ve always enjoyed the waitstaff as well. This is one of my top 3 coffee shops in Dallas. While you pay a bit more for the coffee, they often come with great latte designs and little quirks that make it worth it. Love this place.”

“I've been on a meatless diet for the last 3 years and The Legendary Meatball Sandwich (Xiu Mai) is the only exception I'll make. It's that incredible, memorable and delicious. The chef and her staff are passionate and committed to serving the most authentic and delicious Vietnamese food, never compromising on quality. If I could write poetry about the Sandwich Hag food, I would because every bite is filled with delicious & mouthwatering inspiration. You have to try this amazing place! I highly recommend it.”

“Bonton Farms is a great way to spend your morning or afternoon. Visiting the farm and the market allow you to support a local farm where you are directly supporting the residents of a low-income neighborhood. The Market has amazing food. I have eaten breakfast and lunch there and each time it exceeded my expectations. After eating a great breakfast and drinking coffee, you can visit the farm which is right next to it. You can help volunteer to harvest veggies for the community or check out the adorable baby goats.”

“Had a great time! Made a reservation for 7:15, and when we arrived at 7pm they were able to seat us immediately. I really appreciated that. The food was incredible. I had the chicken. I don't know how they managed to get a perfect crispy layer around the chicken. And whatever they did to the carrots, those were divine. The wait staff did a great job of checking on us. They boxed up the extra food for us, because believe me there was way more food than we could eat. For desert, I asked for a recommendation from the woman who served us. She indicated the white chocolate rum tile was really good. I have to agree with her recommendation. It had a nice, delicate flavor. It wasn't overpowering sweet.”

“First time going yesterday I was skeptical. It's hard to find good tamales in restaurants, but this place is great!! I got was wondering if I would like them so I only ordered 1 dozen chicken tamales...I should have ordered 2...also the guy at the register was friendly...I had a wonderful experience and am going back today!!!”

“I love coming here! whether it's for a quick bite and coffee with a friend, or coming to study, I enjoy the ambience of this place. The food here is hit or miss so I do personally think the food is a little over-priced for the quality but considering it is made to order it is fairly consistent to say the least. However, the most important thing is the coffee and that always delivers and is definitely worth the stop! :)”

“Restaurant was clean on this visit, restroom could use some upgrading, extra cleaning. Cafe Brazil usually has a pretty good coffee bar, all you can drink for close to 3 dollars, usually has 10+ flavors to choose from. The coffee was okay, a little weaker than what I like, tasted clean and fresh however. Ordered the veggie omelet with side of fruit. Omelet was small which was a little disappointing, fruit was good and fresh, nice portion size, good variety. Pancakes here are pretty thick, 3 are good enough for 2 people. Nice place for brunch.”

“Love this place. Amazing service, great low prices and authentic food. Has the hole in the wall feel and it doesn’t break the bank. Portions are big. I suggest the breakfast tacos in the morning after a late night out!”

“We waited about 40 minutes from placing our order before our food was served...we were going to a play and it made us a little late. My "medium" steak was well done... Not even a bit of pink and some pieces so charred and tough they couldn't be eaten. My fries were so salty I could barely eat them. But my wife loved her pasta. I think they can do a lot better than this.”

“LOVE this place! It is a hidden gem. My mom, sister and I have a fun tradition of meeting for afternoon tea. We have visited places all over Dallas (and the country) and this is one of our favorites. The food is all creatively prepared, and beautifully presented. We appreciate that the menu always features seasonal items, and the pastries are to die for! Our most recent visit was over Christmas, and the restaurant's tasteful decorations added to the festive ambiance. The service is always attentive. I have never eaten lunch there, but assume it is equally delicious. I highly recommend Potpourri of Silk!”

“I went to Tribal at 11 on a Friday. It is a pretty small space, with only a few tables to eat at inside and a bar where they serve alcohol. But, they do have outside seating. I do like the open kitchen and bar area, very modern decor. White and wood and open shelving. I had the nourish bowl (with an extra- fried egg) and a hibiscus tea. I spent about $18. All of their menu options are very healthy foods, although the mixture of some unique vegetables was a little much for me. The brocollini was yummy but hard to eat in a bowl full of lentils, chopped mushrooms, and sweet potato hash. I don't prefer the mushrooms, but the fried egg to bring all the flavors in and the avocado to top it off was certainly great. We asked for mimosas, but they didn't have the drink available. I don't remember our waitress' name, but she was sweet and checked on us regularly. She even helped us find another option for drink when mimosas were out, and refilled my friend's coffee.”

“This location is making progress from previous review, which google maps forces me to edit instead of post a whole new review. At the cumbersome ordering kiosk there is now a staff member who does the ordering for you. Isn't that the same as going to the counter to order?? The restaurant is much cleaner and brighter but the food unfortunately, has not improved. The staff is much friendlier, a BIG improvement! They still got my coffee order wrong though.”

“This is one of my favorite new places I’ve discovered in Dallas. Me and my girlfriend love the food! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and amazing quality that’s hard to find in Dallas. Food does take a bit to come out but it’s completely worth it and we don’t mind waiting for an amazing meal. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Well prepared food. Counter service. I couldn't find a menu anywhere and so I just took a recommendation for the Eggs Benedict. Was very good. The staff seemed quietly mournful. Awkward even. Like they just wanted to be left alone to contemplate things. Nevertheless, I recommend it. Maybe you might try to cheer them up.”

“This place has it all. If you're looking for quality products or incredibly fresh and unique produce, this is the place to come. It's one of only a few places where I have been able to find tigernut flour. This is a very hard commodity to come by and while some people use it for their personal nutrition, I actually use it for fishing as it is a very good bait to use for carp and buffalo. That aside I love going Royal Blue Grocery. Every time I go in there my wallet gets lighter because I can't help but buy things.”
