I've noticed many people come and go at this location; it's sad that hardly anyone takes there job seriously anymore. I know customer service can be challenging but a simple smile and greeting can go a long way. Jeremiah is the only employee in a long time that can do that. Ty.”

“Great little small town cafe that serves freshly cooked meals. We were working at the school in Welch and we're excited that there was a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The chicken strips were awesome. Well breaded, moist and fried to perfection. I had the two strip order and had plenty of food ( these are large strips) . I had the cheeseburger another day and really enjoyed it as well. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in the food that she prepares. This place was also very clean. My coworkers enjoyed the food as much as I did.”

The fried pickles tasted heavenly, and the plain ol' grilled cheese tasted like grandma's grilled cheese. The diner vibes are perfect. 11/10 would return if we didn't live out of state!”

“First and foremost...The Salsa. Excellent and hot with a good flavor. They even sell it by the gallon. The Guacamole has a great taste. Order it. My buddy had the street tacos and he said it was good. I had thr carne guisada. The base seemed a little packaged, but was good. I will definitely return for the hot sauce and guacamole. There is literally MOLD in there! That is so disgusting I don't know how long it's been in storage or whatever. The only good thing about this place was the staff. “My sister purchased the Lost Texan Café from the previous owner, Barbara back in August 2022. As I am reading through these poor reviews about the BBQ and the potato salad and beans.. I would highly suggest you come back and give us a try!! My sisters and dad have had experience with BBQ food truck in the Caprock Canyons years ago!!! I PROMISE you, you will LOVE the brisket!!!! We have had numerous regulars of LTC come in and are now enjoying the brisket and the ribs (every Thursday & Friday)... “Just passing through and this place did not disappoint. Home made tortillas were legit. Chorizo, potato, cheese, bean burritos for were really good and cheap ~$4. Biscuits and gravy $2 (added sausage) were huge. I can see how the biscuits would be a little plain if I had not added sausage. Came to the drive through at 11:30am on a Friday. No line and they had our food ready in like 3 minutes. Chick working the window was super friendly and gave some recommendations. Highly recommend and we will go again when we’re back in town.
