“We stopped in on a Wednesday for some good vibes. Parking was easy to find. Service was very attentive. Our waitress was Diesha like Kiesha. We ordered the birria tacos 🌮, salmon 🍣 street taco, and a shrimp 🍤 taco. Everything was hot and fresh and very good. We also had the medium sized hookah for two. Wished we would have made it before 8PM for free refills but now that we know we’ll be back.”

“I tired Smokey Ray’s for the first time today at the Afro Soca Love Marketplace in Dallas. They service was pleasant and friend, the prices are reasonable, and most importantly the food was good!! Oh, and I only waited like 10min for my food. I had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich. This was a hard sell for me, but I’m so glad I tried it - y’all, it really works. Lol. I also ordered the potato salad. I don’t really trust other people’s potato salad, BUT, this is definitely an exception. It was so good and had the perfect consistency/texture. Together I spent about $14. I will definitely be back. ☺️”

Bathroom was clean enough, they need to put more toilet paper in, but then again, it was first thing in the morning so I'm sure they'll be in there soon enough to do that. “This is good chicken. If you are from Chicago you will definitely appreciate this place. The mild sauce is the real deal and the best way to have the chicken is Chicago style with the mild sauce over everything. I will return when in the area or when I need a taste of home. The 4 star is because the specials advertised on the screen were not available, and my hubby (as well as many others) had to leave and get cash. It does take a long time but it is fresh full wings being fried, so I feel that should be expected.”
