Children tenders done in house are great. So is the tomato corn salad, has black eyed peas and onions. Dessert fantastic. Almost everything done in their kitchen.

It was nice, food was pretty good, we didn’t get our appetizers..... The main food came out, the lady said the cook is new, and didn’t judge timing to good! Well maybe teach new staff better?

Over all food quality, taste, and temperature were on point. Menu is diverse but not to over whelming with lots of items. Service was good, server was polite and attentive. Location is small. The seating is tall tables with chairs that are also tall. The regular tables have hard chairs. Not comfortable. Second visit, we enjoy. Will continue to patron.

We found Rooster's in Decatur and loved it. Months later we were ecstatic when we were driving through downtown Denton and saw this one. Had to try it and so glad everything was just as good. Love the feel of the place, the service and food. My favorite is the brisket burger. I'm not a brisket guy but this thing is awesome. Also, the chips that come standard are good but also try their onion petals. Prices are very good for the quality you receive. Parking can be tough so try driving around back if full in the front.

Had a wonderful experience here at Rooster's! Found out I will be serving some time here in the local jail and our server John made my last meal amazing! Thank you so much guys! Much appreciation! I'm a chef by trade and I never go out to eat...and never give good reviews on restaurants....I'd definitely would recommend this place to anyone! Ask for John, he's the best server I've had in a long time!
