Pier 407 Seafood & Grill

Pier 407 is fantastic! Being from the Carolinas, it has been almost impossible to find a restaurant serving fried flounder. But Pier 407 has flounder! Their Best Mate Platter is awesome - lightly breaded fried flounder, shrimp and oysters. I'll be back!!!

Came in today, food was fresh and decent in flavor. The place was clean. The service was not the best. From my perspective, I, a black guy was treated differently and wasn’t even greeted upon entry unlike the two groups of white people that entered into the restaurant after I received my food. I was even pointed to pick up my own glass to grab my drink. Meanwhile, the two tables after me were served their beverages. The staff were NOT rude to me, I just noticed the difference in service provided. I feel as though it’s may be ran by a Japanese family. Again food was fresh and decent in taste! Small portions for price (but not bad because you are paying for “quality”). Would recommend for my whites friends, they may be more welcomed.

When looking for a fresh, delicious, reasonably priced seafood lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong at Pier 407 in Flower Mound, TX. My family enjoyed a late lunch on Thursday. We were greeted by our friendly waiter, served quickly and absolutely enjoyed "cooked to perfection" meals. The fish and shrimp were lightly breaded and seasoned just right. The coleslaw is a delicious addition to the plate. We look forward to returning!

Very fresh, high quality food cooked just right! Prices are reasonable with generous portion sizes. The owner came out to visit with us. What a great experience!
