Alma Mexicana Restaurante

We ordered to go from here on a whim because they’re close and I was intensely craving Mexican food. And let me tell you it was goooooooood! It was so neatly packaged too! Highly recommend!

Family owned, family recipes. Absolutely delicious food. Friendly, welcoming service and nice atmosphere.

A good test of Mexican food is how much care goes into the basics of rice and beans. Too often, rice and beans are thoughtless fillers at Tex Mex and even self-proclaimed Mexican restaurants. Alma's clearly cares about each item they put on a plate and takes time to make every serving delicious. I would be happy with just a plate of their rice and beans for a meal.

Enchiladas are authentic and the ranchera sauce is spot on. I try mole whenever it is on a menu and Alma's is quite nice with wonderful sesame flavor.

We look forward to returning and trying out other parts of the menu. Alma's is a promising addition to dining in Flower Mound.

We visited Alma’s for the third time this evening. We did a large to-go order for 7 people. Everyone ordered something different. The food was hot and perfectly prepared. The owners work hard and have a high standard of excellence. Alma’s is the real deal!

The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious! They have freshly made tortillas too! The avocado firecrackers were SO good! Chris was the best server giving us great suggestions and good customer service. We will definitely come back.

In my opinion, simply the best Mexican food in Flower Mound. Family recipes truly show the love behind them. We have been several times now and never disappoints. Super nice Family behind this place and deserve to see success. Thank you for making our visits a wonderful experience.
