AS ADVERTISED! When Babes says salad they mean lettuce. When Babes says biscuits they mean from scratch. When Babes says order they mean family style with mashed potatoes, gravy and cream corn. When Babes says meat they mean fried chicken and chicken fried steak. The best fried chicken beautifully spiced and a true Texas Style chicken fried steak. Try the Sage Honey w/ biscuits and enjoy great music with a staff that wants your appreciation. Make sure you visit the washroom after leaving a pile of bones.

This is a place that you go if you have a large group that is hungry. We went recently with family. Our party was 7 people and they seated us at the large table in the back. This was a perfect spot because of the large lazy Susan in the middle. You have a choice of fried chicken or chicken fried steak. I got the chicken and it was like being back home in my grandmothers house. They serve it all family style with mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, and delicious biscuits. Make sure you try the honey with your biscuits. This is such a great place to eat. Very eclectic and family friendly.

Amazing chicken, delicious mashed potatoes and gravy, tasty corn and home made biscuits. There's only 2 items to order, chicken dinner or chicken fried steak. BYOB and they'll bring you a bucket of ice to keep them cold! Fun atmosphere where the servers do a line dance every so often and you're welcome to join in!

Our entire family got the fried chicken dinners to go. They come with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, biscuits and salad. Wow, this food was great. Nothing to complain about here at all. Everything was fabulous. Glad we got it to go, as the place was packed when we picked up our to go order. Another sign of great food. I highly recommend this place to others. Would definitely go back.

The original location. Best fried chicken in the business. Fried chicken or chicken fried steak are the only entree choices. Both are excellent. Family style all-you-can-eat sides: salad with house dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. Never go home hungry. Can take home entree leftovers. Half a chicken is served to each person when ordering fried. Great atmosphere. Quick service. Just a really fun pace to visit. Signage on walls are fun ti read, makes you laugh. Pay bill at cashier as you leave.
