Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I suppose all Cheddars are not created equal.
After frequenting the location in Mesquite, TX, my expectations for an amazing pina colada, great service, and awesome food were pretty high.
This was my first time to dine at this location. It took them 3 attempts to get my drink right, they over-cooked my daughter's steak, and my nachos looked like something from Taco Bell.

I wish I was over exaggerating... but I'm prided myself in giving honest feedback on Google.

I almost gave 2 stars, but the franchise deserves more for the years of great experiences I've received.

They are quick to serve, friendly and for the price it's good but not great. I ordered the baby back ribs, sweet baby carrots and fries. It was almost all on point; the baby back ribs were very good fall off the bone awsome but some parts were dry. So, if you ignore the dry parts which was really not more than about 15% of the baby back ribs then I'd give it 5 stars.

Highly recommend. The best ribs I've ever had!! Huge portion, very meaty, wonderful sauce and they almost fell off the bone. Should definitely be listed as one of their signature items. Looking forward to our next visit!

Pretty busy location but seating is quick as is service. Food was tasty and I was really fond of their lemon pepper chicken over rice. Service was pretty good but we did wait a bit after receiving the check because our server forgot to bring us a pen so we did have to flag someone else down. Aside from that, overall good visit!

We had not been to this Cheddar's before but have been to another location. This one is much better! Love the inviting interior and friendly hosts that welcomed us! We only had a 20min wait which I thought was not bad being a Friday night. Got to our table which was well lit up and clean. Our waitress was super nice very polite. We ordered the spinach dip for our app. For our meals it was the chicken fingers for the family and I had the grilled salmon with bourbon glaze. It was really good along with my sides of green beans and the really good broccoli casserole! Food came out great! We will have to come back and try something else.... maybe the Monte Cristo!
