“This new addition to the Austin Ranch area is welcomed as this place is cool. The ambiance is great, the service is personalized and consistent. The prices are very competitive compared to other brunch places. The food I saved for last, as it is tough to compete with breakfast/lunch spots and I only tried 2 items. The omelette was good and the pancakes were also. I should have tried the crepes because this seems to be their specialty. I will defer my definitive food critique until I have gone again and follow up. For now I will be a regular because the total package is well worth the visit.”

“This new Velvet Taco is AMAZING! Usually new restaurants take a few months to work out issues but this one has been open for 1 week and I wish I could give it 6 stars. Our food was incredible and the service was just top notch. We especially had amazing service from Shorty who was working the cash register. She was so kind and just fun to chat with! She enhanced the entire experience which was already a great one. Definitely cannot recommend this place and it’s people enough!”

“Pretzals are really soft and giant with a slight crunch on the bottom from the baking. The nacho sauce is top notch and the lemonade was great on a hot day too. The only note I have is because the space is new Google maps doesn't quite get you there. You can't park right in front. It's best to find P.F. Chang's and the Baked Bear and Ben's in to the right of those 2 storefronts.”

“Great place to visit. Management and service were just perfect and top it at its best. Bartender made great drinks suggestions and everyone were very friendly at providing service. There cocktails which are very unique in name and presentation wise but were made very well as well. Food was as unique as well and some of items like Naughty Naan and Sexy Fries are a must try. “Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Very courteous and accommodating. The “chicken” in the chicken and waffles entree were not good at all. Blocky freezer styled tenders, with no flavor and an after taste. The gravy was delicious, but not enough to offset the taste of those tenders. Ultimately ended up ordering something else. The waffles and bacon were pretty decent, I would say the best part of the entree. The sausage was along the same lines, no flavor. The eggs struggled in the flavor area as well, not sure if they use powdered eggs or what. The prices are decent, just need a little work with some of the key menu items. When one thinks of “down south”, you are expecting real down home cooking with boastful flavors that taste fresh out the kitchen cooked with love. You will definitely appreciate the ambiance and hopefully some of the other menu items, as there are some areas of opportunity for some of the breakfast items.”

“What a great way to star the weekend by the best Brunch restaurant so far. My burger was delectably great couldn’t help but ponder at it, meat was juice and cooked to perfection just as I asked , lettuce is crispy and fresh the cheese and pickles were a great addition to it. lastly the fresh onion slices added tremendous savor my my Burger. My sister had coffee and it was hot, tasty and most substantially freshhh. The place is clean and tidy; I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. Service is on top of it ALL. “My boyfriend and I came to Davios for our anniversary dinner and we absolutely loved our experience!! First of all the staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive. Our waiter Jose was extremely helpful and polite.The kitchen and dinning room runs like a well oiled machine! It was incredible to see the staff in action working so diligently and professionally. I highly recommend the spring roll sampler! It is a burst of flavors. We both had steaks that were cooked perfectly (medium rare). Also highly recommend a side of peppers and wild mushrooms but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we've ever had!”

I would've given a 5-star rating but they were out of a certain appetizer that we wanted and according to the waitress, the cooks said that they couldn't make any more. She didn't understand why they couldn't just like us. It was only about 8pm and that's too early to be running out of things. We will return because we really want to try the appetizer and hopefully they have it next time.”
